Well..coming back after a while to check that what I have seen is right! This semester I have an inorganic chemistry lap and my professors had a strong Entp vibe!! So fun active smart and social, she loves teaching and her body language is active, when I asked her to do the test, she said that she is an Xstj !! I was choked but after hearing about the creative subtype (again) I kinda see why it’s that, not 100% convinced though. Typing people can be sooo confusing at times I might give up.. an Infj here
I’ve watched all the videos in this series and as someone who is engaged to an istj this might have been my favorite one so far. I could see so much of my partner in the things you talked about. Can’t wait for the rest of the videos!
Do the subtypes correlate to the cognitive functions? Like is the Dedicated Captain someone who uses Te more while the Enthusiastic Prospector is more Ne? I got Te=Fi>Si>Se on a test and it said i fit closest to ISTJ… I also think I’m more Dedicated Captain (Te) and Practical Coach (Fi) if that’s the case…
An infj here. One of my friends is an istj and it’s clear to me that she is the creative type. So smart and mysterious, maybe the funniest person I know, she can make me laugh a lot. And might be mistaken for an intj or an intp but I see the si function as a big sign. Another friend of mine who’s an istj, I couldn’t tell her type, she enjoys art, seems like an xnfp with friends, and has istjs coolness and steadiness the other times, and also her si is clear to me, what can her type be?
Those are just associations for now, though fairly obvious one. Dr. Fisher does not use the MBTI types, but her folks do know about my work and have posted supportively.

My ISTJ father on law must be the creative subtype, he ended up being a social worker in a homeless shelter, so bizarre for an ISTJ.
And he tested on a 16 personalities test as INTJ so he sees himself as an intuitive, he’s not though.

Are there really measured correlations between Nardi's subtypes and Fisher's hormone/neurotransmitter model, or are those just associations?
