    Thank you for doing this. I had an idea of how to clean my bottle warmer I just wanted to be sure. I too love this product! I bought one for my sister last year for her first baby and I ended up getting one for myself a couple weeks ago. Super easy to use and a life saver. Boiling hot water and letting the bottle sit while my little guy cried his head off was the worst. The only thing I would suggest next time is to wipe the residue out - I don't think you should be putting water inside the device like that. I know it's unplugged but still just playing it safe. Congrats to you and your wife on your baby. And thank you again for the video!

    I know this video is a year old, but you could do 1 part vinegar, with 2 parts water. And you just let it sit for a few minutes until everything lifts off. You don’t have to turn it on.

    It only smells burnt because you have to replace the water like every 3-4 uses, The water doesn't last forever

  • @bryannaaaa8391

    How do you get rid of the vinegar smell now? Its really nasty

    • @teedur23
      @teedur23 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you just run it a few times with regular water and the vinegar smell will go away.

    If you clean it once a week, it wouldn't get this dirty. You can also just rinse it out with warm water. This is not necessary.

    Honestly no offense, I have two sterilizers, this big munchkin sterilizer that I can put multiple things in and this one but parent choice brand. And I have to wash bottles multiple Times a day since my baby eats a lot ,
    I have NEVER( mind you I don’t think I’m perfect or a neat freak AT ALL) let
    It get tHAt dirty. It’s never even been that dark and the reason why:
    1) I use distill water, since there’s barely any minerals for how much they clean the water, it does minimal darkening.
    2) I change the water after 2 to 3 uses. And the only time I will do 3 uses is when I fill it a little over the line. It’s only 4 oz and the gallon last a atleast 2 to 3 weeks. Either you got to buy more bottles or you need a big sterilizer. These single ones aren’t made to do so many bottles as you waste alot of water sterilizing 4 ounces for a few bottles rather than several bottles. A bigger sterilizer cost $5 more dollars that this one and you can put many things in it. Stack it up so then you can fit more.
    Other than that, I have had no problems keeping it clean. I would think that you would notice a yellow hue on the white parts of the bottle if it was that dirty, down there. I do hope that helps anyone who is running toward that specific problem. But I feel like that water is dangerous to sterilize a bottle with, and it should never get that bad.

    You can literally just wipe the inside with a wet rag? Lmao it comes right off with no problems
