Thank you Andrew, really appreciate this deep dive, especially for all of us who do not own that amazing box 😊 And that sentence in Paul's foreward "it doesn't include my last single because I haven't written that one yet"... sooo delicious. That man is a LEGEND! So, here's to his next single 🥂
Hi Andrew, Thanks a lot for this great unboxing Video. My test Pressung is special, because it's the beginning of Paul's 7" releases "Another Day". Great to have this one. I'm always watching your videos with great pleasure. Best wishes from Germany Joachim
Andrew, i listened to the entire 70s output so far. A couple of thoughts... SOUND QUALITY IS TREMENDOUS! Also...if you want to share the beauty and magic of Macca post Beatles, this would be what I'd give them. Most of the songs are upbeat and easily accessible. Wonderful melodies, harmonies, bass lines and guitar/synth/piano/drum/horn sections. Most of this is cream of the crop Macca. It's AWESOME
Thanks for spending the time & straining your voice for nearly 90 minutes to allow us to view this amazing piece in its entirety. As much as I'd have loved to gotten one, the price was a bit prohibitive (esp so near the holidays) for me to partake, so it was great seeing your disc by disc unboxing here. Enjoy listening!
Thanks Andrew, great unboxing. After so many years listening to Paul, buying all I could, and thinking I knew all about his music, the master surprise me again, there're many B sides I never heard, how great to share my life with Paul years in this world. Waiting for mine to arrive next week, greetings from Uruguay and sorry for my english.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this very special package. Love the close ups of the records, sleeves & general information. I have been listening to the singles on Spotify ( certainly not the same listening experience as to the actual singles- nevertheless, a joy to hear these brilliant songs & B- side gems). Enjoy this collection for many years!
Great video, Andrew! Thanks for sharing. I've just checked my original 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' single from 1972 and the B side is definitely 'LIttle Woman Love'!
Fun to watch the full unboxing and live vicariously through you for nearly 90 minutes. It looks like their quality control wasn’t perfect, but with 80 singles I’d say you did pretty well despite the unwanted sticker and off-center label. This video has inspired me to seek out some of the original singles I haven’t yet collected.
I really appreciate your upload a lot! I wish you much pleasure with this wonderful crate. It‘s inspiring to look at these amounts of nice looking covers and artwork. For example I feel familiar with this Tug Of War single artwork, because I took it home as a kid, proud as a king from my local record store for 5 German Marks and put it on my shelf while listening to the a and b side on my headphones. Sweet memories ☺️👍🏻
Thanks Andrew. I have almost all these as originals. My "Mull of Kintyre" is signed by Paul. I think the team missed a great opportunity to "release" a double-A side 7 inch in this collection with "CAGE" b/w "Waterspout". I'm sure you'd agree!?!
That would have been great, but hopefully being saved for an imminent Archive Collection! Did you meet Paul to get that signed or did you buy it signed?

Brilliant box set, Andrew. I love 7" Singles. The whole thing is incredible. No artist has accomplished the Singles like Paul McCartney. Not even Elvis can compare. Paul wrote, sung, and played and produced and orchestrated many of his own songs, Now a whole box set ! Test pressing too ! Play them, yes ! That gives you moments to enjoy. One of my all-time favorites is Another Day and Oh Woman, Oh Why. I have a Vikki Carr 45 from Sweden. Now you with McCartney ! I love Uncle Albert/Too Many People single mono. The amazing thing about that is the RAM mono mixed album I have which is the best mix in my opinion ! Love is Strange single, oh wow, Denny Seiwell's drumming is phenomenal on the Wings first album. To me, issues with records give you your own unique records. I see positive ! Give Ireland Back, wow !! You have so many unique items with stickers ! Well done, Andrew !! I have several of McCartney singles and I much appreciate this ! Hi, Hi, Hi such a wonderful Single and to think Billboard could chart at 100 ! Billboard should be hung for that ! I love the Israel cover because I remember that art from Red Rose Speedway..what an interesting idea ! Live and Let Die from Sweden ! Wow ! Band on the Run Singles, my favorite moments in listening pleasure, Paul's guitar licks, much like Revolver, nails it perfect. These Single releases is out of this world. No artist comes close to these amazing creations ! Paul's Helen Wheels was mocked with Linda's singing on music mags but Paul just kept on writing songs.. Now Look !! Paul is Champion for music, right ? Absolute stunning records ! Thank you so much !!!
Glad you got back safe and sound from New York Andrew and am just watching your extensive and authoritative synopsis of the Mega Macca Box Set......I have watched quite a lot of these over the last week while you were away .......you could use your Friar Park book marker from George's Gigantic Crate as a back up marker whilst you are showing us all these fabulous singles.....I must say that your equipment and clarity of your videos is second to none and when you hold your covers up to the screen I can even read all the little writing ever so clearly.......PS I hope your Jet and Let Me Roll It plays ok when you get round to playing it.......Great stuff Andrew 🍷🍷👍👌 I think because yours is one of the best channels you were awarded the bonus free nipple on your Juniors Farm /Sally G
It was a long watch but very worth it. Really interesting as I originally thought it would just be uk singles. Thank you for taking the time to show us them all. I have about 10 from this collection although UK versions. Keep up the great work!
This is definitely one of the reasons this kind of set at the asking price doesn’t interest me. Quality control on modern vinyl production these days is terrible, regardless of the price. I would expect absolute perfection in this set for the price they are asking!
@@Pauls_Archive I totally agree with you on that & I also think it’s bad timing , following on from the deluxe issues of revolver reissues , which we not cheap & then Mr McCartney issues a very expensive 80 7inch Box set costing £615 , when we are going through a cost of living crisis , food , energy etc , very bad decision , it could have waited till next year .
Thanks a lot for this most informative commentary. I, myself, was unable to order a copy, due to its very limited release, so your unboxing has been very welcome. Thanks again, Andrew.
Hi Andrew. I've listened all the box through the streaming. From the streaming point of view is a pure Playlist however I really liked how good is this box
Hey Andrew great unboxing video. A bit of geeky trivia regarding the Aussie "Listen To What The Man Said" 45. The normal prefix for Australian Capitol 45's was 'CP' but even though the label reads 'Capitol', the catalogue number 'A' prefix was actually used for the Aussie Parlophone & Apple singles. Around this time the Beatles EMI contract was expiring. While Paul re-signed with EMI, from memory, he apparently requested the use of 'old style' Capitol logos on his Wings releases however they retained the Parlophone prefix numbering (at least here in Australia). Interesting bittersweet story about "Rainclouds" which I wasn't aware of till now. Thanks. Love the set but out of my reach unfortunately. Cheers mate 👍😊
@@AndrewDixonMusic one other thing is "Party Party" was the one-sided single included with the "Flowers In The Dirt" Tour Pack LP. Also have you thought about getting plastic inner sleeves for these singles? Might be worth considering. A quibble - Given the high cost of the set, It's disappointing (a) the booklet wasn't hardcover & (b) the 45's weren't supplied with protective inner sleeves here unlike the most recent Beatles Singles Boxed set (same with the Paperback Writer EP in the Revolver box). You've had a couple of mishaps with records sliding out of their sleeves which inners could've prevented. Cheers mate.
Whoa that was a trip down memory lane.....I've got a lot of those singles ( English releases from 1970...til 1980.....) His best years in my opinion...! a lot of them I bought second hand from Jukebox vendors back in the day .....! Great unboxing....soooo interesting...!
Andrew, I ordered my crate as soon as I saw your announcement video, so I have you to thank that I was able to get one at the original selling price. Mine is number 174, for what it's worth. For the songs that have never been released on 7-inch vinyl before, I think that they should have made an effort to make the labels interesting. The plain coloured circles are not much better than the test pressing disc.
Great video. The single where I really started to take notice of Paul was Take It Away then not long after it was wall to wall Beatles celebrations with the 20th anniversary of Love Me Do and I was hooked! That back sleeve of Arrow Through Me looked like it listed tour dates, I wonder if it was released to coincide with the ill fated tour of Japan in 1980?
Looking at all the sleeves passing by made me realise I have many more original PMcC singles that I thought. Thank you for making this video. I thought at first that 84 min was a tad long but it wasn't at all! Thoroughly enjoyed this video of Paul's output since 1970 in "a snapshot of 84 minutes" :-)
That factory sticker on the label of Give Ireland Back to the Irish reminds me of when I got an internal GZ factory document accidentally packaged with my 8LP boxset of All Things Must Pass lol
Couple of comments, I have never in over 50 years of collecting music heard 45 rpm singles sound this good ! I got Mary had a little lamb as the test pressing and I got number 2303
Just watched this video in full and it has been a pleasure to watch as always! Another great video and I am still waiting for mine as I had a delay email. I am also so glad 'I want to come home' is in this box as I think it is a later career masterpiece of his. Cheers!
Hi,. thank you for the upload! I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I noticed that on the Japanese back cover of Arrow Through Me, there is a list of Wings' upcoming concert dates in January 1980, which obviously didn't happen for the reason we all know....
Hi Andrew, as always you've given us a great unboxing video. Thank you. Snap! I have Helen Wheels/Country Dreamer as my test pressing too. My box number is 2242. The quality control on the labels is very hit & miss. I've got a misaligned label, one lightly crinkled one & on Only Love Remains I have two labels stuck on one side, one of which is stuck on the run out grooves. Thankfully nothing that affect me playing them. It is a beautiful box set though & labels aside has been put together really well. I love all the different sleeves from around the world & the sound quality is top drawer.
Hi Andrew , interesting unboxing video of the Paul McCartney singles box set of last year , but I myself think it was put out at the wrong time , hence the cost of living crisis , and also not much warning of its release . I would have loved to get it , but at a price tag of I think £615 + , it’s way out of my price tag , and also I have heard there have been faults & very bad customer control at the pressing plants. You tend to get faults with big issues like this . Anyway I’m glad your pleased with your purchase , and once again many thanks for your videos you put out . I’m very much looking forward to your next live stream , when ever that’s going to be , I have missed your live stream’s .keep up the great work & the very knowledgeable information you come out with , I learn things I never knew .
@@AndrewDixonMusic Cool , I know it will be something of interest , to all us Beatles fans , Paul McCartney , John Lennon , George Harrison & Ringo Starr ( solo releases ) , just started to read the McCartney Legacy Book , wow it’s really good from the start, it gets you gripped quickly the more you read the more you go on & on , hard to stop for a break
I was thinking about this the other day Andrew. Paul left quite a bit of money on the table with this one. Yes we have quite a few "Greatest Hits" cds out there, but what McCartney fan WOULD NOT have purchased these singles compiled together on however many CDs it would take to hold all 80 singles?! Every one of his singles, in order?! INCLUDING the B Sides?!? That would have been a massive seller for those of us who cannot afford this box. I bet there will be a "Paul McCartney, The Singles" box set at some point, but that would still be 80 CDs with two songs per CD. I hope at some point he DOES put out "McCartney - All the Singles" compiled on a few CDs as a GHs....He could even label it Vol 1 as I am sure there will be more singles to come....
There's the option of this in hi res 24/96 downloads for around £125.00 which I purchased and it sounds great overall. Much easier to play all these in hi res as no off and on the turntable. :)
Absolutely loved watching this extremely entertaining video I wish they had released a cd single box set of this thank god for Amazon Prime music loved listening to it on steaming cheers Andy HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS TIME
My set had one disc with the slug still stuck to the record. Came off easily enough. One sleeve had minor damage. One label shows a phantom label as well, same record. "Beautiful Night" has the same label on both sides, but fortunately the vinyl is stamped A on one side. One single has a minor scratch. Haven't played anything yet. Devouring the book next. Still, quite pleased with the set.
Thank you Andrew, I always enjoy your videos. I was wondering. Will you or do you clean these 7" singles before playing? I've read, even with new vinyl, you should always wash or clean them before playing. Just in case there is anything in or on the grooves from the manufacture. I'm curious about your thoughts on that. Also, what was the original cost of this 7" box set?
Hi, I usually only clean discs if they sound/look like they need it, not enough hours in the day to just do them all! I think this box was just over £600. I felt I could justify it to myself seeing as I had almost none of them on vinyl already.
I checked the box-makers site, they do lots of designs and customise. The idea was to get a box similar to that one without infringing copyright....which you could do, but even empty their boxes cost more than I had in mind. They're not Steptoe & Sons, alas. I remember 'Helen Wheels' being hard to find around 1979, & omitted from WIngs Greatest Hits. Took 2 or 3 years to get that single back when I collected - - don;t know why it was rare around all the 2nd hand M/C record shops I hit most weeks. Might even have been a U.S. copy, can't remember.
Hi Andrew, what’s your Hope for the Future front sleeve like ...I ask because mine is full mat, but the replacement sleeve sent to me by Universal which obviously looks similar but it now has a mat framed edge with gloss finish covering the rest of the sleeve? Compare yours to that shown in the Superdeluxeedition unboxing you will see what I mean....wonder if there are any other variations?
I can imagine how much fun Record Collector magazine is going to have asking the buyers of this set to write to them listing all their reports of the variations and oddities of the 3000 sets of this box, and compiling a report on all the minor/minute variations that it was issued with into a long article....
Hi Andrew, are you in the process of seeking a replacement of the faulty discs, any ideas on this as I have quite a number of issues with my set? Also did you get Ringo’s Old Wave vinyl or CD plenty left at Culture Factory France, mine arrived today!
Hi Mike, I haven't done anything about it yet, life has got in the way! I ought to get my butt in gear on that.... Not sure I need Old Wave on vinyl but I'd like to pick up a CD of it if I get chance.
Andrew, do you plan to let MPL know about the issues you have with your box? That messed up label would drive me nuts! Also, 2 copies of “Old Siam Sir”? It’s not even one of best songs and they included it twice? I was staring at the boxset on Paul McCartney’s store but just couldn’t press the button to buy it. Considering I would be going over to the turntable every 5-6 minutes I guess I’m too lazy. Also, I have Apple Music and they put the boxset up in lossless mode it’s wonderful, especially the Mono version of Uncle Albert, that intro gives me goosebumps. More importantly, I downloaded the files for offload playback so it’s much more convenient. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a wonderful box, and with 3000 boxes for 8 billion people, it’s a good investment and a piece of history. Still, $611USD for me, I just couldn’t do it. Will you be doing an actual “review” of it, not just a nice show n tell? I’d be very interested in hearing how you feel about it a couple weeks in, and how they sound in your system, etc. ✌🏻 #RememberDecemberEight ❤
Several years ago, there was an “unoffical” McCartney singles collection that covered all Mccartney singles (and 12” versions) covering the start of his solo era through the “Off The Ground” period, which (as a result) contained 12” inch exclusives (like “Russia” tracks and multiple period remixes) and the original full length live version of “Coming Up” (with the full count-in and “Paul McCartney” chant at the end). The new set is also available digitally if you haven't got the deep pockets for vinyl. Itunes format from $80 CDN, and 24/96 uncompressed from HDTracks (not available in Canada though).
Hi Andrew , brilliant video of the unboxing of this 7inch singles box set of Paul McCartney , but I’m disappointed , I would have liked a box set of his entire U.K. singles & not including releases from other parts of the world which this does. But I think it was released too soon after the revolver deluxe vinyl & Deluxe Cd Editions & single vinyl & 2 Cd editions etc . They also gave little warning of its imminent release I can’t remember how much warning they gave , but if they chose to release it sometime in 2023 , then I think i would have been able to buy it , but I have listened to it on Spotify anyway happy playing Andrew , I hope you have a very happy Christmas & a happy new year , roll on 2023 for new Beatles related releases
Thanks John, if I remember rightly the timeline was something like Sunday I got wind that something was happening, Wednesday I found out what it was, Thursday it was announced and Friday it was sold out! Really quick turnaround in this set. Have a great Christmas 🙂👍
@@AndrewDixonMusic now you mentioned the timeline , it does ring a bell with me , I’m just disappointed I have not got it as I have all his original Albums. Minus the classical & the firman , I’m very much looking forward to another Archive release , London Town & Back to the Egg , I think I will have to save up and get a mint condition 7inch Paul McCartney box set on eBay. , but be very careful at the same time . Cheers Andrew , really enjoyed your Broadcast this year & every other year since I subscribed , never looked back on your broadcasts , very interesting & very helpful information , keep up the great work 👍😀
Thanks Andy. A great vid for people like me who won't be getting this box and thanks for introducing me to a few B sides I've never heard. Seeing some of the disks made me wonder if there would ever be versions that would get rid of some frustrations. What I mean is, how I'd love to hear what happened to the brass section at the end of "Take It Away". Was there a proper ending or did they all just carry on until they ran out of breathe? And what about David Gilmour's solo at the end of "No More Lonely Night". I can imagine that going on for hours..... Maybe there are bootlegs somewhere. Cheers mate.
Hi Andrew I am very much enjoying this video of the new singles box set. I just wanted to mention my copy of Mary Had A Little Lamb I bought in 1972 is an Australian Pressing based on the UK pressing with the same cover and label as in your box set and on the flip side the label shows Little Woman Love. Hope this helps. Cheers!
Hi Andrew. The sticker on "Give Ireland Back To The Irish" label, shouldn't be there. It's another anomoly, one of many reported. My set had three, all label related. I wrote UMG Universal, London. You can also go on Paul McCartney's store site to make contact. If you provide your order number, address, phone number and photos of the damage, they'll eventually replace the afflicted records. It took a month, but they replaced the three anomolies in my collection with perfect copies. It became obvious, there were multiple quality control issues, with the number of folks reporting them. All my best. It's worth the effort.
Really enjoyed all of this, it was a bit like opening Christmas presents, but one of the highlights has to be 49:59 'Paul slipping beautifully into middle age'. ;)
Thanks Andrew for showing us this great box. I am still struggling to link the 7" single experience with the small uk style spindle hole as opposed to the large one we used to have in France. A little detail but still it's part of my younger days experience! But I guess it's handy you don't have to use an adapter!
we had/have the same big hole in 45s here in Italy too! As it is the case for the 2 original singles by Paul that I still have. I didn't even know that UK had a different format
'The World You're Coming Into' is a beautiful and moving piece from the Liverpool Oratorio. I hope you don't dismiss it, and do give it another listen. The B-side, 'Tres conejos en un arbol tocando el tambor' is good fun, inspired by Paul's Spanish teacher at the Institute. It translates as 'three rabbits in a tree playing a drum'.
When you dropped Jet, my heart dropped along with it! LOL!! Don't feel bad... When I put the foam back in, I put it horizontally, not vertically (as it was originally placed). It was VERY difficult to get out and I had to push the singles forward to get a good grip. I was freaking out! Luckily, I got it out without any damage (that I could see!). I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to this stuff... I have issues. LOL I'll check Take It Away and Give Ireland Back to the Irish. I went through the singles, but I've only taken a few of the records out. I'll go through it tomorrow to see if I have any major issues. Now I'm a bit nervous. Thanks for this. Great video. Have you played any yet? What's the sound quality like?
I'm playing them in order, out up to Venus and Mars era so far. Sound quality generalyveey good except Give Ireland Back... Both sides were poor, I don't remember that being an issue in my digital versions.
Enjoy!! I’m going to play them next weekend. An awesome set.. No major issues with my set.. The sleeve for Woman and Wives had some minor damage, but that’s about it. Sounds like every set had some minor quality issues. Still very happy though. Keep well. Love your videos.
Nice and interesting Andy. But as a collector's set we all want to know who got No1, who got the low numbers and what was Denny's number?. Detective hat on Andy find out !
Am I correct in thinking Andrew, that there are no rice paper inners inside each single, like Apple did with the Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby remix single? What is to stop them getting scratched by the paper or cardboard? If I owned this box, I would definitely be investing in some inners to protect them. Thank you for your comprehensive video.
Had to laugh regards your dropping the All thing's must pass LP as l did the same except l scream when it happens as l am over the top as a collector , aren't we all Lol , 😂🤣 cheers best wishes Damien.
Cool video - up to your consistently high standard as usual ... thank you ... ... I have been watching these unboxings of this set purely out of curiosity as it was not on my wish list but can appreciate the "art" of the set v practicality of actually playing the tracks .... I would however be interested in the 8 CD set which has just surfaced (presumably illegally .... see, for example, Matthew Street's video) ... maybe you have seen this? Paul may react to this (unofficial) release by, hopefully, releasing an official CD set .... I would be interested in your thoughts .... Cheers ... CMcG, Aberdeen, Scotland ....
Hi Calum, this feels like a vinyl/streaming only project and I'd be very surprised if it gets a CD release, but you never know! I'm building my own playlist of all the same versions of the songs so I have a digital version also.
Hi Andrew, I Don't Know/Come On To Me double A sided single was a RSD 2018 release. The CD single is either a promo or an unofficial/bootleg release. Also I would contact the Paul McCartney Store regarding the single with the misaligned label and see if they can replace it. You have paid a lot of money for a defective item. I am jealous, I wish I could have had the money to buy the item. Enjoy the 7" Single Crate Set. I hope you have a "Wonderful Christmastime".
Hi Andrew! Thanks for the unboxing. Hey does it say anywhere in the singles box when Rudolph The Red Nosed Raggae was recorded. This is a big mystery. Eight Arms To Hold You has it back in 1975-76 but I don't know. Thank you!
Hey Andrew, thanks for the video, I can't watch everything because I've seen two others. Were there any defects on yours? Missing labels, miss presses, etc?
A couple of minor things that won't affect playback, and one mis placed label that goes over the run ou groove so I'll need to remember to lift the needle before it hits the paper
My Let Em In had two labels overlay with one firmly in the last seconds of the song. Sadly Let Em In is one of my favorite songs. I was traumatized by this. My Beautiful Night / Loves Comes Tumbling Down was completely missing a label for Love. And a big weird silver thumb print on Long and Winding Road / C-Moon on the b-side of the single. I am sure they pressed overage, I hope they fix these defects for us.
Andrew, having downloaded the now available for first time to stream Only Love Remains 7" version which of course is different from the album version, it is actually different from the version I have on my 7" single I bought at the time suggesting is a remix which is not stated.
'Country Wheels' and 'Helen Dreamer' are two of my favorite McCartney songs. Underrated.
Sometimes I get my words up mixed....
@@invisibleray6987 My comment is crap or McCartney and Wings' 'Country Wheels' b/w 'Helen Dreamer' was crap? 😅

Thanks Philip! I don't have George's Uber box unfortunately. I'll take the win of having "bonus nipple" 😯
It was a long watch but very worth it. Really interesting as I originally thought it would just be uk singles. Thank you for taking the time to show us them all. I have about 10 from this collection although UK versions. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Allan!
Shocked at the production issues present in this set. Inexcusable at this price.
100%
This is definitely one of the reasons this kind of set at the asking price doesn’t interest me. Quality control on modern vinyl production these days is terrible, regardless of the price. I would expect absolute perfection in this set for the price they are asking!
,@@Pauls_Archiveand yet they managed to get the wooden box perfect. If only we were wooden box aficionados!
A great unboxing of a very special set! So pleased for you Andrew! 👍
Thank you!
Wow, Andrew, this is so amazing! I hope you enjoy it! When I tried to buy it... «SOLD OUT». Thank you for this video.
Excellent video, really enjoyed that. Loads of information and great artwork on those covers
Mr. Dixon, That box-set appears to be absolutely wonderful. I have no doubt you will enjoy it for many years. 😊
Hi Andrew. I've listened all the box through the streaming. From the streaming point of view is a pure Playlist however I really liked how good is this box
I think this was easily the longest TH-cam video I’ve ever watched. Nice work Andrew.
Thank you for taking the time to watch! 🙂👍
You must be buzzing… big trip to New York …. Then home to this little treat ….and it’s not even Christmas yet …👍
Andrew - I feel a World Cup of McCartney singles is needed - all 80 - vote for best combined a and b sides
Great idea thanks! Would be a mammoth session.
Nice one, Andrew. Got me thinking: we're surely not far from the 'Paul McCartney Complete Forewords Book.' 😉
😄
Brilliant!
Thanks so much for sharing Andrew. It's a beautiful box.
Thanks for that info Peter, wasn't aware of all that!
Thx Andrew, that was cool. What a collection! Yeah, 1985 is a classic song (love that piano) and album closer. Take care.
Whoa that was a trip down memory lane.....I've got a lot of those singles ( English releases from 1970...til 1980.....) His best years in my opinion...! a lot of them I bought second hand from Jukebox vendors back in the day .....! Great unboxing....soooo interesting...!
Good choice on the test pressing, two of my favorite early Paul songs (We All Stand Together in my box).
A George Harrison singles Box-set would be nice.
Thanks for sticking with it! 🙂👍
Thanks Andrew....it looks great...but I will stick to my original picture sleeves....which is pretty complete up until 1989
Just watched this video in full and it has been a pleasure to watch as always! Another great video and I am still waiting for mine as I had a delay email. I am also so glad 'I want to come home' is in this box as I think it is a later career masterpiece of his. Cheers!
Thanks Beck 🙂👍
Hi,. thank you for the upload! I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
I noticed that on the Japanese back cover of Arrow Through Me, there is a list of Wings' upcoming concert dates in January 1980, which obviously didn't happen for the reason we all know....
Without choking on my almonds, all I could say is WOW!
Hi test pressing twin! 🙂👍
@@AndrewDixonMusic I forget to say, I don't have a sticker on my Give Ireland Back To The Irish label so you could have a rarity there. 👍🏻
Awesome still waiting on mine
Love the crate and it’s Paul’s vinyl fabulous
I Want To Come Home is a gem, truly magnificent song✨
Completely agree.
Perfect timing. I just got it today
Hi Andrew , interesting unboxing video of the Paul McCartney singles box set of last year , but I myself think it was put out at the wrong time , hence the cost of living crisis , and also not much warning of its release . I would have loved to get it , but at a price tag of I think £615 + , it’s way out of my price
tag , and also I have heard there have been faults & very bad customer control at the pressing plants.
Thanks John, live streams hopefully back in next couple of weeks.
@@AndrewDixonMusic ah I’m pleased to here that Andrew 😀
@@AndrewDixonMusic Andrew , I forgot to ask you , what the theme of your live stream in approximately 2 weeks time ?
@@BeatleJohn813 I don't know yet, I'll put out a message a couple of days in advance with the details.
Thanks Andrew... i passed onthis cos I have most of my favourites already....but nice to see!!
Thanks John, can certainly imagine you have a great collection of Paul 45s, have you ever shown all together in one video?
It’s not every one of his singles. Only 80 of them.
There's the option of this in hi res 24/96 downloads for around £125.00 which I purchased and it sounds great overall. Much easier to play all these in hi res as no off and on the turntable. :)
Absolutely loved watching this extremely entertaining video I wish they had released a cd single box set of this thank god for Amazon Prime music loved listening to it on steaming cheers Andy HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS TIME
Thanks Paul, have a good one yourself!
@@AndrewDixonMusic cheers mate hope you have a great new year too hopefully we will get rubber soul next year
My set had one disc with the slug still stuck to the record.
Hi, i also got the helen weels test pressing, and my box set had the number 1975.
“A single’s fallen over Paul, a singles fallen over!!” 😅( amended quote from Let it be movie)
Something worth coming home to.
#1437 says hello from CT USA!!! Got "My Valentine / Get Yourself Another Fool" as my test pressing.
Mine is gloss with the Matt edge!
Once again, excellent Andrew thank you! lovely set indeed!......(looks like the nasty sticker should peel off)
Andrew I’ll be getting my copy of the Beatles red & blue cd 💿 albums yes 👍
It’s also on Spotify. I noticed it earlier today.
21:20 we’ve all been there before 😅 one of the big reasons I love sleeving my records, inner and outer.
Wonderful! You might need a RCA Victor 45 rpm records changer mini turntable
Cheers!
Just one more thing my Australian pressing of Hi Hi Hi is an Apple record on a plain red label.
I also have the same Capitol copy of Listen To What the Man Said with the same cover. (Sorry I just can’t help my self when I see these things 😁.
Thanks for confirming! 👍
@@user-ri4fz9mf8x Yes I only found out in the 90's when I bought some singles in the UK!
Got it, love it
'The World You're Coming Into' is a beautiful and moving piece from the Liverpool Oratorio. I hope you don't dismiss it, and do give it another listen. The B-side, 'Tres conejos en un arbol tocando el tambor' is good fun, inspired by Paul's Spanish teacher at the Institute. It translates as 'three rabbits in a tree playing a drum'.
A great looking collection. I Can't Imagine B Side of C'Mon People, is a great song, not sure why it wasn't included on Off The Ground.
Thanks David, you are correct, no liners in the singles.
Had to laugh regards your dropping the All thing's must pass LP as l did the same except l scream when it happens as l am
over the top as a collector , aren't we all
Lol , 😂🤣 cheers best wishes Damien.

Merry Christmas Susan! (I'm taking an educated guess on your name, apologies if wrong!...)
Hi Andrew,
I Don't Know/Come On To Me double A sided single was a RSD 2018 release.
Thanks Matthew, yeah still not sure I trust it as anything official.
Lots of stuff I see advertised as promo that looks dodgy as hell!
Finally got my box , I received # 2170 with Helen Wheels / Country Dreamer
I can't find my Mary Had A Little Lamb 45 but on my database it shows "Little Woman Love". I can see me commenting further! 😁
Hi Andrew! Thanks for the unboxing. Hey does it say anywhere in the singles box when Rudolph The Red Nosed Raggae was recorded. This is a big mystery. Eight Arms To Hold You has it back in 1975-76 but I don't know. Thank you!
Also do you know if there will be a 12 inch box set. Thanks.
@@TheEeliciousOne That's bad, have you contacted customer services?
@@AndrewDixonMusic I have, but they've not yet responded.
I agree with For Your Eyes Only as Moore's best. And of course The Spy Who Loved Me as a close second :)
Absolutely 👍
I didn’t have a single error on any of my covers or 45 records😊
Andrew, having downloaded the now available for first time to stream Only Love Remains 7" version which of course is different from the album version, it is actually different from the version I have on my 7" single I bought at the time suggesting is a remix which is not stated.
That sounds like poor attention to detail by the makers.
English translation for the Swedish "Live and Let Die" single: "The leitmotif from the Live and Let Die film". You're most welcome, Andrew! :)
