Here after reaction about Christina from grey's anatomy performing a running whip stitch on a heart... had to see what all the hype was about... this is the simple one though ehh. Still need to find the fancy stitch
An extremely helpful video, thanks. I cut myself with a razor and went too deep. I seen the fatty tissue and the wound wouldn’t stop bleeding no matter how much I tried to stop it.
Hello, I am a 17 year old Male, attempting to replicate these sutures for fascination, and learning purposes. I do not possess a suture kit, or traditional suture tools, relying on the skin of an eggplant for a model, and a sewing kit for tools. I would Certainly appreciate any guidance that may be given, and have benefitted from this video. I am grateful.
They typically only cover stitches for the first couple of days, then let them breathe for a week before taking them out on day 10, so you see them for 7/8 days and it is nice to see a clean, crisp suture rather than sloppy work from someone who has been rearranging your internal organs ime
@@Mica711 what he meant to say was in running stitch a diagonal or a parralel stitch doesnt matter. The healing is going to be same . Scar formation depends on length beteeen stitches and whether ur apposition is good and wound care . Dont assume that if suture looks good outside it wont leave a scar , it just 2 different techniques thats all.
@@grouch314 he meant the parallel and diagonal stitches. Its just 2 diff techniques just because u do aprralel and it looks good outside doesn't mean diagonal stitch will leave a bad scar. In parallel stitch u leave the diagonal part of suture underneath the skin thats all.
what a profoundly unusual way of saying 'towards'
+BernardTunes Toe-ords
Lol
That was literally all I could focus on the whole time
I have combed dictionaries for this pronunciation and haven't found it yet. There's something beautiful about his sticking to it.
Very, very good tutorial. I used this for my medical assistant's class on minor surgery assisting. Thank you.
I have no idea what a medical assistant would have to know anything whatsoever about sutures but yeah.
How to start your own back street clinic
Start away from yourself, wrap around twice; continue toe-erds yourself.
É sempre maravilhoso saber fazer com a finalidade de ajudar o próximo, assim como ser ajudado quando necessário.
There are some people who are incredibly talented at this. I have been cut a few times in my life and have some experience on the receiving end.
I can't take this seriously with the way he says towards😂😂

took me 10 min to realize you was saying "towards"
Awesome now I can sew my pant with precision
You are the best medic youtuber
Does it matter what hand you use?
You don’t need to do the second stitch where you tied your initial knot right?
very good tutorial.
Clear and concise! Thank you!
Except for the way he says "towards". Did you not notice, at 1:13?
Amazing thank you. Very helpful.
what type of needle I should use. Nylon, silk, cromic or other?
silk in my opinion is the best to use, i’ve used nylon it makes it difficult

really awesome , keep it up
It's TUH-WARDS. Not TOH-ARDS. Putting too much emphasis on the O in "towards".
thanks!

It's wrong, look at the last suture and knot,it results a big scar
Nice suture tutorial but it just had to be more tighter. All good.
What difference does it make what the patient thinks?
It's gonna be covered in a bandage anyway

And depending on how your stitch is... could mean the difference in a bad scar or hardly one at all!
It will be a scar for the entire life, you dumbass, so every time the pacient looks at it, she or he will think about your stupid face and shaky hands
