love this campaign, so refreshing coming from modern dnd to something oldschool like this
Thank You!
Another great episode! Thank you so much for raising those slain PCs. I was grinding my teeth in dismay.
As was I!
"Less than ideal"
That went bad quickly.
Yes, yes it did
Party time freeze only works in solo play and even then it can be an issue if another party hits the same dungeon.
For your case and video content Id do it your way but you will have timeline issues if party b hits a dungeon that party a is frozen in
It works if the party has to leave to safety. This is part of the dungeon restock rules also imo.
Those centaurs would be sending for friendlies and restocking.
Great video.
For sure - time would not freeze if they are in a dungeon of course. They would need to be in base camp. It can be tricky to track IME with players vs solo for sure. Thanks!
Suprise is very powerful. Don't they get a savings throw?
Save vs surprise? Nope.
@@BanditsKeepActualPlay no a death save.
How does the average armor work? I would expect that armored ( class 3 ), heavy ×2 (class 2 ) and light × 3 (class 1) would balance out to heavy 10/6 = closer to 2 then 1. Do you just pick the highest number of occurences?
I only count those who are in danger - that’s what the party forms a line with armored PCs in the front.
So excited. Awesome series.
Thank You!
Boy, the surprise rule seems massively O.P. to me. I think I'd scale that back, so that it's a normal initiative roll after the surprise round, instead of automatically losing it. Centaurs: you'll remember you fought them!
It’s pretty standard classic D&D surprise.
We never got an answer to the most important hanging questio. - do Griffons eat Centaurs?
We may never know
That centaur payback was like OH SNAP!! Oracle dice woo!! :D
Yes indeed!
I didnt quite understood the time mechanics at the end, real time mixed with game time? I didn't get it how does that work?
Once you stop an adventure back at town you switch to real time. Since I was mid adventure I did not switch when I went back to town
Party Suprised... that is when the luck ran out heh
Yep lol
I know this might be a pain but would it possible to reorder the playlist so that the higher numbered episodes are at the bottom? The order they are in now causes TH-cam autoplay to go to the previous episode.
Either way thanks for sharing!
It’s designed like that so someone who is fully caught up will see new episodes - otherwise they will need to scroll to the bottom
@@BanditsKeepActualPlay counterpoint - the folks who are caught up can see it in their subscriptions feed, &/or get notifications, &/or look in your videos or live feed etc.
I think it is probably the people that are catching up that use playlists more often.
All the same, thanks, I’ve watched or listened to 5 or so episodes today while doing chores post festivities. I dig the mapper concept for adventure sites and the quick adjudication methods.🙏🏼
Where did you get those oracle dice? I want some😅
They are from the game Tales of Argosa
Necromancy, good stuff!!
Thanks!
Good video. Thank you
Thanks!
