This is a page straight out of Judy and Barbara's book. Not just in technique but also quality. A LEGEND in the making I'd say. Those effing straight tone resonant belts folding into that insanely balanced and intense vibrato. It sounds like I'm describing a gourmet desert...but that's literally her voice. Because of the controversy over Jessie J’s technique in the TH-cam vocal coach community I would love to hear Natalie’s take on some of her performances because I trust Natalie’s opinion over everyone’s
She’d never do an actual full on analysis because there would be backlash. That being said, Jessie at her VERY best has E5 and constantly C#5/D5 in her mix and still can produce some decent F5s. Above that? That’s where all the Aguilera influence comes in

She's a trip I would love to see reaction videos from natalie , they would be very entertaining lol
+1 AND lets talk about her ninja breathing skills. Just watched the video the full way through and about 1/4 of the way through it I'm like OMG I haven't seen her take a breath. So then I hyperfocused on that and noticed her insanely-quick catch breaths in her chest buried in places of the phrasing I would've never been looking for. And then to see her load up the diaphragm so quickly before singing almost 2 sentences was just crazy. She really does channel some of my very fav aspects of femme powerhouse legends. Oh and I really appreciate that her speak singing at the beginning wasn't overly done/anunciated and was actually even slightly off a little but in a natural, believable heartfelt way.
Oh and then lets talk about your reactions on this video I. LIVE. FOR. THEM. when you would stop, label it, try it, kvetch, rinse and repeat I was in heaven. NO ONE ELSE APPRECIATES VOCALS AS MUCH AS YOU DO!! i mean like, you don't miss a thing and I want more of it!!!
