Thank man, appreciate it. I've been very happy with Ridgid. I just used a Ridgid SDS plus rotary hammer in a video. The thing is a beast for drilling concrete.
This is great review. Thank you. Could you please post a link to where I can get a saw horse like that? I know you said the name but I could hear the brand. Thank you.
Thanks, I use that saw horse alll the time, best investment for woodworking and DIY, Here's an Amazon link from my video review of it- ROCKWELL JAWHORSE LINK: amzn.to/2tzl1bt
Yes, get one! You will wonder how you ever got along without it. Here's review from when I first got it. I need to do an update video. th-cam.com/video/SKN8t1jBdr8/w-d-xo.html
I would just warn you to to see if it's old paint that contains lead. If so, you want to find how to properly remove it. If there's no lead, newer than 1978 then yes you can remove paint. I've also heard people having success with Citri Strip paint remover.
@@MarkThomasBuilder I'm not trying to remove the paint, I just need to plane the doors so they fit. My question is, if paint will kill the blade or if it's made to do it.
@@mfill5043 It will remove the paint. I recommend unplugging it after using it a few minutes and just make sure the blade isn't getting any buildup on it. This works well for getting the doors to fit.
I got one of these planers about a month ago and just love it, Ridgid really knocked it out of the park with that octane line I saw some new Husky hand tools at HD, I just had to get that pry bar set.
I think this planer is going to get lots of use. I recently purchased a DeWalt wrecking bar for some demolition projects. It was very satisfying to remodel with it. I'll have to look for the Husky set.
Your reviews are awesome. Ridgid are nice tools to have. Keep up the great work man👍

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you currently use a power hand planer? What type of projects do you it on?

Thanks again. I went and bought one right after I watched your review. Now I need in invest on that saw horse. 🤙🏼
Have you test bi metal vs carbide hole saws
I haven't, but that sounds like an interesting idea. Thank you!
Have you ever done a review on the Rockwell jaw horse? I’ve thought about getting one but I’m not sure yet.

Is it ok to use it on painted doors?

@@MarkThomasBuilder Awesome that's a great tip, thank you!
@@MarkThomasBuilder Is it designed to be used on painted doors?

How about a planer-blade change video?
Did you know Home Depot does not carry replacement planer-blades within their own inventory system?
That's a good idea, I'll put that on my list. I didn't know that in the inventory system. I'm surprised.
Why 3 & 1/4"? Wouldn't you want at least 3 & 1/2" for 2x4s? IDK...
That's a good point. I'm not sure why that is.

Cheers!
