14:00 I know the feeling man, I used to repair and customise blackberry phones before (they started using glue on everything) as a hobby. Then it tried to scale it up into a business but the monotony, the silly demands from people and UK customs taking months to process my repair parts killed it. It was really the latter as I could only afford to buy parts at cost when a repair job came in. In order to sustain it I took upfront payment for the repair parts hence why it was sold at cost and there was no charge for repairs because bloody customs took ages to pass through my repair components. So instead of people being charged £50 for a LCD screen I'd charge the same cost as the LCD replacement was about about a few quid. Because I loved doing it as a hobby....

I've noticed that I experienced what you said about doing what you enjoy. I worked as an auto tech for over three decades, and finally quit because I really started to hate it. I then started a hobby shop, and did that for a decade until I was ready to scream. Then tried to make a career out of another hobby, fixing RVs. I'm in the process of hating that one. My friends that are computer enthusiasts suggested I get a job repairing computers. Since I would like to continue enjoying repairing, upgrading, and modifying computers, I think I won't do that.
that so true, didn't even take 9years, i started doing this stuff since 2020 from my own room, then rent a shop, then back to my own room again and i've been mostly stopped doing it after a year going back to my own room again. thanks God i started it when i still on college and atleast got enough money from it to finish the uni.

top tier channel bro i been here since day one. ALWAYS on point godspeed
Thank you for riding with me!
Geeked out watching this
I've noticed that I experienced what you said about doing what you enjoy.

I relate on the don't do this for a living thing. I've worked over 10 years in the food service business and I absolutely hate cooking.
Epic video good job.
Jay Bauman is my favorite technician that's ever lived
I have an MSI Raider GE78. I guess I know what I have to look forward to. Damn it.
Man I wish in this part of the Earth you could find motherboards and stuff for laptops like you guys do in USA. I got a little Dell e7470 that has a bad psid from the charger and the repair and motherboard cost more then what the laptop is worth 😢
Bambu Labs makes a nice 3D printer. Planning to pick up the P1S eventually.
Edit: Also, GN Shirt! Good taste.
oh, the classic DELL G3 problem... good thing they are not admitted publicly there's an issue with these models, but they are let us swap the LCD kit in warranty :)
Yoooooooo. Prometheus and Bob! That was my favorite skit on Kablam!
Hell yeah!
love this channel..
The Greatest technician that's ever lived ❤

Really feelin the tunes
Suno AI man. Crazy right? Granted it took me an hour to find the right prompts to get good songs but wild…
If you are feeling burnt out, how about a video on that sweet Volkswagen van? If you like cars, why don't we see some more cars? Best of luck.
That's the idea! I have 2 car videos already filmed, finding the release date around sponsors is tricky but I'm getting there. You'll see the van and hear the story
Those hinges should be metallic plates welded to an aluminum screen cover, or at least welded to two big plates glued to the plastic
