  • In this episode its late in the spring striped bass run. My buddies Will and Jordan jump on board with me to poke around to see if we can fish some fish. The water is murky and temperates are rising. After hitting multiple spots we decided to give the flats a try. Watch the video to see how we did. Check it out!!!

Any tips for fishing the raritan bay this time of the year. I cant seem to catch anything. Was fishing near perth amboy, staten island area today on my boat and not having any luck. New Angler here.

The fishing has been slow for sure. It’s always a good idea to look east as the bass find the sand eels when they migrate. I like to throw soft plastics and poppers. If I’m trolling I like to use mojo’s and the 8” trollers I custom make. You can check them out on my Facebook or Instagram page. Tight lines. 🤙🤙🤙

Why those waters so brown and ugly?

Smolex whenever we have spring rain the runoff will produce very murky conditions. Fish don’t seem to mind this time of year.
