There's a room in Minrathous ( near the Shadow Dragons HQ if I remember correctly) that has a Charlie Day type conspiracy board that links all four games to a shadowy figure.
It’s a bit too spoilery to give specific details, but I liked the way that the big lore reveals in Veilguard are foreshadowed by some of Cole’s more inscrutable lines in Inquisition.
I’ve been playing for hours and I really am enjoying it, great combat and story, to be honest I have more fun playing this then I did playing Baldurs gate, I found the combat in Baldurs gate the most boring combat I have ever played, and your companions do nothing on their own, at least dragon age they do something and your main character moves his lips and talks
I found the story to be preachy and very far from what Dragon Age was after the 1st 2 games. Feels like you have to play a certain way and hold certain views. Just feels like HR is in the room at all times. Always maxxing the sensitivity and inclusion to a silly degree. But glad you enjoy it. Take care! :)
@ it’s actually a really good game, most of these you tubers are giving so much hate to this game but I wonder how many have actually played it, my advice is play it for yourself and make your own decisions, don’t let other people decide for you, I think the combat is great, better than inquisition, story isn’t that bad, I’ve played worse, graphics are really good, I’ve played over 500 hours of inquisition and I think this game is good, I like it and don’t really care if others don’t
Well, i like the game so far. Just the design choices are still a bit odd .. especially after playing Inquisition with its more distinct character models. Everyone in Veilguard looks a bit dumpy compared to Inquisition .. where admittedly, elves looked like stick insects. But to go the total opposite is a surprise move. Now they look like dwarfs.
eh, I disagree. I think the characters look so much better in DAV. I tried going back to play DAI and to me, it looks so badly aged, at least the people/face models. The character creator is just awful unless you use mods. Was like when I tried to go back to Oblivion after playing Skyrim lol
I love how you've managed to tell from your own personal experience with the game exactly what you find to be wrong with the writing. It'd be awful to think you're just spending time stalking Veilguard content to copypaste someone elses opinion that you've latched on to in hope of seeming relevant on the internet.
@@Hellbovine82 What's wrong with it? It's absolutely flat writing, the characters are as deep as a puddle, and it's all terribly boring. The worst Dragon Age and the worst Bioware. Whoever gave this game a 10 or is not capable of making a serious review, or has some interest... After Anthem and ME: Andromeda another commercial flop... it's time that Bioware started making quality products again like they used to.
@@Hellbovine82 I played the game and have finished the story... The writing is okay at best. Honestly felt like I was playing a Disney film as a video game. Not good

8:36 I found a cheese, a skeleton and some tarot cards out the back of a building in the previous Dragon Age game.
Eurogamer has a very twisted sense of humor.
THE WHEEL OF CHEESE WAS A SHIELD IN DRAGON AGE 3...Really? Jeeze, please, it was a cheat along with a banana on a stick for cassandra...
How pathetic are the people who clearly don't play the game but are here in the comments as servants of some online hate merchants
It's a valiant, honourable movement.
I've finished the game. It's the worst dragon age game from all of them. Really disappointed as someone who's played them all
Correct me if i am wrong but the inquisitor lost there hand in inquisition but some how they have it back in veilguard?
The inquisitor appears to be wearing a prosthetic, has a very distinctive gauntlet that isn't part of the same outfits Rook can wear.

How is the story great honestly?

@@jax4616 you seem to part of the minority this game was trying to appeal to. God bless. But bioware hasn’t put out a good game in a decade
I've watched alot of COHHs playthrough and one of the big let downs is actually the terrible lack of attention to detail...
