This is a powerful story that needs media (i.e. music/film) in order to reach the world. Interesting enough, the “Drum” is a metaphysical activator of spiritual power (cosmic Sound) that allows human beings to achieve higher levels of consciousness-Divine awareness (Wisdom/Knowing).

Do you live in Uganda? Is this is what is being taught in the schools over there? I'm Jamaican but born in the UK in 99' and we was taught similar things in school too! The only 'black' faces we was taught about was MLK, had to teach myself about the Panthers though.

    in my culture.
Nyabinghi is being idolised as a god to some people.
Poor me, being born in a christian background, I hated every mouth that spoke about the name because it actually sounded blasphemous.
It's today that I really got the deep truth about the origin of the name.

Totally awesome outta view INKTV. Good to know there’s more to come.
Interesting perspective on queen Nyabingi .
I’m willing to over look his obvious mistake on Selassie’s conflict with the British, ok he meant the Italians. I hope, that’s would bring doubts on the occurrences of the rest of his information. I’m sure he misspoke
