I feel like the New York Jets gave up on Sam Darnold too early. The last season he was with the Jets, he was doing pretty good. He could’ve been a great mentor for Zack Wilson. Maybe.
@@NAT-turners-Revenge he was drafted by the jets. He struggled with New York his entire career. He’s the one that “famously” said, “I’m seeing Ghost” during a game when he threw an interception to a defender when there was no receiver anywhere near the defender. The last couple of games of the last season he was with the jets he played the best games of his career. Because he played so well the jets lost the #1 overall draft pick and the chance to draft Trevor Lawrence who went to the Jacksonville Jaguars; New York went with Zack Wilson instead. A few sports analysts said that New York should have stayed with Sam Darnold at least one more year to see if Sam’s performance wasn’t a fluke. He went to Caroline Panthers and he did really good the first half of the season. A lot of analysts believe it was because of Christian McCaffrey, but in the beginning of that year they looked like a team to beat.
I disagree on the Matthew Stafford comparison mainly because he won a super bowl as soon as he got out of Detroit. I'd call him a very good, not great, but very good. Quarterback that just wasted away in a bad situation. I'd bet money we are about to see the same situation with DeShaun Watson, he is very talented but there can be no success in a franchise ran that poorly. It was looking like that was going to happen with Trevor Lawrence under urban Meyer as well. Thank goodness people realized that and changes were made.
Geno Smith had a good season this year but it's a bit of a stretch to say the Jets let him go too early. He was there for 4 years and it took until his 9th season to have a good season. That's 5 years after the Jets released him.
2014 had Chris Ivory, Eric Decker and Percy Harvin 2015 had Chris Ivory, Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall That's far from being scrubs. Even the offensive line was good during that time.
@@davidepling724 Percy Harvin wasn't even much of a recieving weapon Also ivory had 3 seasons with jets and had 1 year with 1000 rushing yards Eric decker was the only one who seemed like a weapon

Ivory had 800+ yards every season, only had 200+ carries once in 3 seasons and never averaged less than 4.1 yards a carry. If you don't get 200 carries there's no way to reach 1,000 yards. You didn't look deep enough into the stats before criticizing only one season with 1,000 yards rushing.
Be careful, whenever you talk about Brett Favre, you need to preface everything with "Allegedly" otherwise his lawyers might get to you. Here's an example: - Brett Favre was ALLEGEDLY selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2nd round in 1991 - Brett Favre ALLEGEDLY went on to revive a Packers franchise mired in over a decade of irrelevance - Brett Favre ALLEGEDLY led them to 11 playoff appearances, 2 NCF Championship wins, and a Super Bowl Victory - Brett Favre ALLEGEDLY won 3 MVP awards and ALLGEDLY retired as the all time leader in Passing Yards, Passing Touchdowns, and Quarterback wins That should make sure this video doesn't get you taken to court 😇😇

I stopped after the back to back Derek Carr and Geno Smith. Carr is better than most think and almost everyone thought Geno was washed. He's had 1 good season and I wish him the best but it could be a fluke.
Idk I feel like most of the qbs had weapons and a defense they would be hof qbs. Steve Young had Rice, Taylor, Craig, and a defense with the 49ers. He would have never been to a superbowl with the lack of talent in Tampa. Vinny was a good qb with no talent.

Romo went 13-3 year before his back injury! And Romo had the worst defenses in the league. Would go up 28-3 by half time to lose 38-41. That's not on him!

My bears not drafting PATRICK M. WILL FOREVER HAUNT US BUT GO BEARS 💙🧡🧡💙🧡🧡🧡💙
You left out giants with Eli should’ve let his ass go after 2013 but no jerry Reese just had to keep him
Your list immediately became flawed when derek carr was too late yet you put geno smith too early for ONE playoff appearance....that was even before matt ryan pick... good lord
Unitas too early giving up by the Pittsburg Steelers
Tony Romo and Dallas cowboys parted ways at the perfect time honestly cuz Romo had trouble staying healthy
How do you think Rodgers will do in Gotham and Who will sign Elliott?
Whose name is Thomas Dimitrioff?? It's Dimitroff!!!
Brett faver🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣 got me dying
Too late. Bengals with Andy dalton
Colts fan here, can't blame Derek Carr for the Raiders failing to build around him, he did make things happen for people to talk smack and consider them something. They went nowhere obviously but the first time he got injured and the "leaders" blew it up, and gave the dude a terrible o line and 1 person to throw it to reliably a year, wooo yeah f that guy for doing what he did.
I feel like the New York Jets gave up on Sam Darnold too early. The last season he was with the Jets, he was doing pretty good. He could’ve been a great mentor for Zack Wilson. Maybe.
Isnt darnold with carolina 😳
@@NAT-turners-Revenge Not anymore Sam Darnold signed with the 49ers on Tuesday.
Steve Young went from a nobody to one of the best if not the greatest quarterback with 49ers winning a super bowl championship in 1994
Patriots need to give up on Mac Jones. He's okay but they tried to draft Brady's replacement and fell flat on their face
It's a crime Brees ain't on this list. Or even Brady considering he won another ring in TB.
Wow being a falcons fan and seeing we got rid of a QB too early and a QB too late we fuckin suck 😂😂😂😂
If Dallas had Tom Brady holy cow they would be super bowl contenders right off the bat 10:38
Ah yes, 30 decades later. 200 more years 🤦♂️
Geno Smith had a good season this year but it's a bit of a stretch to say the Jets let him go too early. He was there for 4 years and it took until his 9th season to have a good season. That's 5 years after the Jets released him.
But still the jets should’ve at least given him a half decent roster
@@Random1-m4slmao that's facts
2014 had Chris Ivory, Eric Decker and Percy Harvin
2015 had Chris Ivory, Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall
That's far from being scrubs. Even the offensive line was good during that time.
@@davidepling724 Percy Harvin wasn't even much of a recieving weapon
Also ivory had 3 seasons with jets and had 1 year with 1000 rushing yards
Eric decker was the only one who seemed like a weapon
@@batchadirector963 he still had half decent weapons. While not good they were decent and the original comment replied to said he didn't have half decent weapons.
Too early Pittsburgh Steelers Johnny Unitas and Len Dawson
Be careful, whenever you talk about Brett Favre, you need to preface everything with "Allegedly" otherwise his lawyers might get to you. Here's an example:
- Brett Favre was ALLEGEDLY selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2nd round in 1991
- Brett Favre ALLEGEDLY went on to revive a Packers franchise mired in over a decade of irrelevance
- Brett Favre ALLEGEDLY led them to 11 playoff appearances, 2 NCF Championship wins, and a Super Bowl Victory
- Brett Favre ALLEGEDLY won 3 MVP awards and ALLGEDLY retired as the all time leader in Passing Yards, Passing Touchdowns, and Quarterback wins
That should make sure this video doesn't get you taken to court 😇😇
Bad Carr take because the Raiders would've just held up or ruined another promising qb had they traded Carr
Too early to judge Derrick Carr. Just look at how many head coaches he went through amd no defense.
Tom Brady after they beat the Rams in SB 53 it would have saved the humiliation of losing the wild card game to the Titans the year after that
5 Times A Team Gave Up On A RB Too Early...And 5 Times They Gave Up Too Late
I'm a Jets fan and they give up on every "franchise" QB to fast!! Every QB they draft is the next "franchise" QB!! Then 2 seasons later they draft another "next franchise QB!! J E T S JETS JETS JETS. We also like Green Bay left overs.
Do players next instead of just qbs
I stopped after the back to back Derek Carr and Geno Smith. Carr is better than most think and almost everyone thought Geno was washed. He's had 1 good season and I wish him the best but it could be a fluke.
How os Drew Brees not on this list with the Cargers?
I like to call Tony Romo Tony Dull, because romo means dull in spanish.
Idk I feel like most of the qbs had weapons and a defense they would be hof qbs. Steve Young had Rice, Taylor, Craig, and a defense with the 49ers. He would have never been to a superbowl with the lack of talent in Tampa. Vinny was a good qb with no talent.
Are you serious right now with that geno smith take ? Was they supposed to keep a trash QB for 9 years till he magically got better ? Use your head bruh.
Geno Smith is a product of the Seahawks system. NYJ didn't do anything wrong to dump him
If they surrounded him with weapons they could’ve gotten the geno we see now
@@Random1-m4s no
I don't know about Geno, he was mediocre at best with other teams, I think it's the system with the Seahawks, look how Russ is in Denver now
Geno Smith career before last season was 34-37 TD Int no team is hanging onto him after that. And if he regresses next year 2022 will go down as a fluke
He was bad cuz he had bad weapons but i agree that if he doesn’t do well in upcoming seasons he will be a fluke
Romo went 13-3 year before his back injury! And Romo had the worst defenses in the league. Would go up 28-3 by half time to lose 38-41. That's not on him!
Always fall back to the broncos game against manning to prove this point how do you score 48pts and lose. Cause the defense gives up 51.. Romo was the reason they won games many seasons without him they barely won 3 a year
@renilvo EXACTLY!... Career passer rating 97.1 4th in NFL History! 27 game winning drives 06-14 most in the league because he didn't have a choice!!! Def was ass! Ppl only remember the losses, tho. The disrespect he gets always pisses me off. He wins a SB he is a HOFer easy. That's the career he had!
Also they bring up the Seattle game botched snap but never say that would only put them up by like 2pts and the defense let up a td in like 3 plays after that
@renilvo 100%!!! ... Football is the ultimate team sport. You need all aspects of the game to win a SB. The one year we had that the refs 🤬 vs GB in the playoffs.
With the cowboys they should’ve gotten rid of Jason Garrett way earlier than romo
He should have been fired in 2013 after going 8-8 3 straight years and losing a “win and in” game to each team in the division. The only thing that saved him was that Romo didn’t play in the 2013 week 17 game against the eagles. Jerry Jones used that as an excuse to keep him beyond that point.
Gave Up: Jay Cutler
