Hey Karsten, loved the video, as usual you did amazing breaking it down, quick question though... Why you gotta use the android from 2010 for the seat geek promo. Bro there is no way that phone is still able to open up a browser
As an 8 year old kid, the hype around that Montana / Young face-off was immense. I was a young Chiefs fan, and Montana was just a name you heard as legend, but didn’t really know what he was all about. When he got traded to KC, I remember running, yelling in the kitchen that the Chiefs just traded for Montana - I had to drag my dad into the living room to prove to him I wasn’t full of it. When we beat Young and the Niners, it felt like KC was going to go all the way…then they lost to a bad Rams team the next week and lost in the wild card round to the Dolphins. Ahh, but that one moment was sweet!
As a fellow 8 year old at the time, this was also the first NFL game I remember watching. I was watching this also thinking the hype around this, even in New England, was big time.
Michael Vick wasn’t just a franchise player; he was an cultural icon in the community in Atlanta. He was the embodiment of hip hop and football combined
Vick embodied something bigger than words as far as the cultural impact and what he meant to people. He reminds me a lot of Allen Iverson in the sense that he was a phenomenal athlete and brought black culture to the masses as far as how his swagger and confidence was admirable beyond measure. I think when it comes to how he will be looked back upon he will be the exemplary story of redemption and what could have been. As someone who had family members that were incarcerated I really admire what he did with his second chance. It's hard to reintegrate into society after people leave incarceration let alone do it as a black man that's a huge public figure.
That game of Stafford vs the lions was so damn good. I remember it was what made me take Dan Campbell seriously as a HC. They came in considered a bottom 5 team and played their asses off against a top 5 team that went on to win the SB. The amount of voodoo wizardry they pulled out to try to get the W, and they ALMOST did. They played like a team possessed, converting 2 4th and longs with fake punts. They made rams fans take Jared Goff more seriously that game than they saw him his entire tenure with the rams. What they did that day was incredible and I believed went a long way proving themselves respectable in the eyes of their organization, their fans, and the rest of the NFL.
New England fans hate that he left, but we will never hate that man. He is the patriot way. The patriots are tied for the most championships in the NFL and before Brady got there they had zero. He’s the only player and will be only player to ever have more rings than any individual franchise in the modern SB era (7). He may play in literally a dozen Super Bowls before it’s over depending on how this year goes. He’s the definition of consistency. He’s the greatest of all time and it isn’t close in the minds of those who rooted for him.
@@rebelsol9849 while that’s true but every quarterback has to have receivers and the patriots are notoriously bad at drafting them. Also remember that 25 point come back in the super bowl without gronkowski? I bet you can’t even name a receiver or tight end from their first three Super Bowls wins in New England. Not saying he hasn’t played on great teams but to say he’s consistently played with most talented skill players in the league is a lie. And when he did him and Randy broke the single season TD record for a receiver and QB (at the time for QB). So in the words of Von Miller: “If you hate Tom Brady, you’re just a hater!”
@@rebelsol9849 Bro what? The only good receivers he’s had is Moss, Edelman, and Evans. You could possibly argue a couple of others should be included in that list but only having a couple of good receivers over 20 years and still winning 7 Super Bowls automatically makes you the goat.
Russel Wilson going back to Seattle and getting booed is sad as hell, he did so much for the Seahawks franchise, even if his last few years were rather underwhelming.

Dude, the way you wove each of these stories together was very well done! Not sure if that was intentional or just organic, but great bonus to a great video (as always).
The Seahawks were in the afc west until 2003. There are still plenty of people in the pnw who still do not like afc west teams. Additionally, back in the day broncos games were televised as far north as the Canadian border in western WA. Idk if it was due to blackout rules, tv rights, or fanbase demand from the broncos being an older franchise than the Seahawks. Nonetheless, it was b.s. The broncos have a weird connection to the pnw. I personally have a fairly significant dislike of the Broncos and their unofficial horse-face of a mascot Elway.
Man, the Vikings are kinda like The Edmonton Oilers of the NFL: They will give anyone a second chance (thanks to Alyssa Hope for that video this week). Cunningham defined my time watching Vikings football as a kid, seeing Brett Farve come to us after leaving the Packers was a trip and I forgot Moone ever even played for us.
I think russ situation is a little more nuanced. Dude was the qb that helped us win superbowl. Unlikely we would have won one without him. He also lost us a superbowl. Threw 4 interceptions in the nfcc game that same year. His antics, persona, personality, style of leadership whatever description you want to put on him, was a strong influence in the divide of the locker room that ultimately led to or hastened the inevitable decline of the team overrall. I think any seahawks fan that paid attention to the rumors circulating over the past few years from the organization, understood how much of a cancer he became after getting paid. Its bigger than an old qb returning home in different colors. Dude was straight up disrespectful on his way out.
Plus the timeline of saying he wanted to retire a hawk and then leaking the teams he wanted to go to in the span of a week or two really came across as some snakelike behavior. He could've said he wanted to play for a contender or go to a situation that revolved around him more publicly and he still would've received a better reception than he did in real life.
we would of won the first one but the reffs beat us. not the Steelers...its so funny how people think they were so good and the bus went out on a win. wow handed to them was like it. truth!!!
I can't speak for all Niners fans but you'll never hear me say anything bad about Alex Smith. Those teams pre-Harbaugh had good players but they were far from a good team
I forgot Cunningham played for Dallas. I loved Montana and Moon. I wanted that Chiefs team to go to SB, and I really wanted Moon to win a SB with either Oilers or Vikings. The late 80s and 90s were a fun time to be an NFL fan. Different eras. Love then, love now.
I’m a big Russell Wilson fan. I love his story of being unheralded coming into the league, stealing the starting job in camp, and becoming a legend. Wishing him nothing but the best for the rest of his career. 7:16 Brett said that like the Packers traded him so they could play Rodgers. Like bro, you did retire.
As a Seahawks fan I feel booing him was kinda messed up, he won us a SB and gave us so many memories, it wasn't working out in Seattle, we shouldn't waste anymore of his prime
I remember when manning returned to Indy. The crowd reaction was deafening. We still love him in indiana. He'll the defense barely even wanted to tackle him.
I know this is a little outside of the purview of your video, but a while after Stafford was traded he came back to Detroit and was seen at a Tigers game. He got a HUGE ovation! For what it's worth, I'm 100% sure that Stafford would get the same if he came back to Ford Field.
The way that Russell Wilson left seattle wasn’t cool. The day prior to him being traded he said in an interview “I plan to finish out my career as a seahawk” and the next day he’s traded. He obviously knew it was gonna happen, and that really pissed off the 12’s.
Us Chargers fans still and will always love Drew Brees and every time he kicked our ass we kept saying “Dam, we really messed up on this one”. Pain is the name of the Chargers game
Thanks for the video. A note for you: Manning’s last game against the Colts was in the 2015 regular season, not the 2014 Divisional. The Broncos lost their first game of the season and Andrew Luck lacerated his kidney, ending his season.
I'm a Seahawks fan who went to the week 1 game. I think the thing with the booing was that on TV it didn't show well. This was because Russ came out with the Broncos and what were we supposed to cheer them? He went out with their team and not by himself to give Seattle a tip of the hat or something. That and boos are much louder than cheers. And while we all truly appreciate what he did, it was the home opener and no one gave us a chance to win that game, so the salt was there.
A year late, but the fact the announcers shut up so the boos could be heard for Favre's return to Lambeau in purple gives me goosebumps every single time. Makes me wonder what they'll do when when/if Rogers plays the Packers, though
As a lions fan, I've always said Stafford was a super bowl quarterback rotting in terrible management, and his first year gone, surprise surprise, the man got himself a ring Although now I can look up to something with all of the lions management being better now
Wish you included the last second field goal miss from the patriots. Mac clutched up and got them in range but it was a close miss due to the tough weather conditions.
The fact that McNabb was traded to a division rival shows they weren't worried about him. He led the 🦅 to numerous championship games, but was worst in big spots. I predicted his int in Super Bowl to Bruschi. He never let me down.
Russel Wilson was my favorite player in football and when he left I was sad. And when he came back and was booed I was disappointed in our fans because it basically said that they were ungrateful for all Russ did like reaching 2 Super Bowls and 1 ring.
Great video(like always).. as a broncos fan watching Hackett look like a fool i think you should go over NFL coaches best and worst starts to their career.
3:21 I actually know where that is, I live up the street from it, it's the Canyon Inn in Redwood City, CA, in the 80's the owner hosted the 49ers for free every week they won a game during the regular season.
One minor error here. When McNabb was traded to Washington, Kevin Kolb was named starter, not Vick. But he suffered a concussion against the Packers on opening day seeing Vick elevated into the starting role.
I think the way the Eagles and Patriots fans did it was best: cheer them when they first take the field to show appreciation for all they did, but when the game starts, boo the crap out of them because they're the opponent.
Sup y'all, thanks for watching. For those interested, FlemLo and I will be livestreaming a watch party over on sports therapy tonight for Thursday Night Football!

Love your video man
Solid transition from Randall to Mcnabb then to Vick.
love the vid
Literally my favorite, go to meal ready while I’m eating youtuber
I was wondering during the video what QB was going to be last, what was going to get the KTO outro.
Boom. Classic.
Thanks for the video. A note for you: Manning’s last game against the Colts was in the 2015 regular season, not the 2014 Divisional. The Broncos lost their first game of the season and Andrew Luck lacerated his kidney, ending his season.
Good video!
And while we all truly appreciate what he did, it was the home opener and no one gave us a chance to win that game, so the salt was there.
always love the outro music
kto at its finest ❤
Babe wake up KTO just made another 10/10 video
Dang I'm old, I remember getting a Drew Bledsoe rookie card out of a pack and thought I'd hit the jackpot
Eagles didn’t trade McNabb in favor of Vick. They traded him in favor of Kevin Kolb. Vick then benefitted from a week 1 Kolb concussion
People tend to forget that
I just love ur videos
If Andrew Luck got boo’s I think every single an deserves boos when they leave cause he was an Angel who gave everything.
A year late, but the fact the announcers shut up so the boos could be heard for Favre's return to Lambeau in purple gives me goosebumps every single time. Makes me wonder what they'll do when when/if Rogers plays the Packers, though
As a lions fan, I've always said Stafford was a super bowl quarterback rotting in terrible management, and his first year gone, surprise surprise, the man got himself a ring
Although now I can look up to something with all of the lions management being better now
You should do one like this about how when this happened to him the Denver and Philadelphia fans both cheered for him
The ending music is a mixed emotion for me I get hyped because of the music mixed with the play but it’s also the realization a KTO video has ended
Wish you included the last second field goal miss from the patriots. Mac clutched up and got them in range but it was a close miss due to the tough weather conditions.
These are the best vida on TH-cam
This is crazy if this was made this year we wouldve seen Mat Stafford play against thr Lions in Detroit in the playoffs
The fact that McNabb was traded to a division rival shows they weren't worried about him. He led the 🦅 to numerous championship games, but was worst in big spots. I predicted his int in Super Bowl to Bruschi. He never let me down.
Name a better feeling than hearing that outro, I certainly can’t
Just got a new subscriber bro. Def fw the channel
Russel Wilson was my favorite player in football and when he left I was sad. And when he came back and was booed I was disappointed in our fans because it basically said that they were ungrateful for all Russ did like reaching 2 Super Bowls and 1 ring.
Wow, no Drew Bledsoe toe in with the Patriots?
KTO doing my guy dirty. 😂😮😂
Love the content as always,
Great video(like always).. as a broncos fan watching Hackett look like a fool i think you should go over NFL coaches best and worst starts to their career.
3:21 I actually know where that is, I live up the street from it, it's the Canyon Inn in Redwood City, CA, in the 80's the owner hosted the 49ers for free every week they won a game during the regular season.
Booing is fine, but saying they hope they die or have some horrible tragedy hit their family is way way way way over the line and is never okay.
Brett goin back greenbay was crazy
Great vid!! Would’ve been Dope to see Ken Stabler or Rich Gannon on here tho!! - a Raiders Fan
