The Density Altitude Chart page can be broken up into a GRAPH portion and a TABLE portion. We focus on how to read the GRAPH in this video. So easy a caveman can do it. Dr. Alan Feller May 2015
I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge on how to prepare for the written pilot test. I know that it will help me for my pilot training. I subribed to your videos. Great explaining clear and preside to the point. You should become a flight instructor. Thanks..
Alan thank you for this video it the best iv seen on you tube. it a bit to figger out how it works but i got it in the end. thank you its thumps up from me mate
Did anyone else find a different answer for his practice situation where he said pressure altitude equals 8000 ASL and the temperature is 60° f. Find the density altitude. I use the chart I checked I double-checked and I came up with a DA of 9600 asl. He said the answer is 10000 ft
Can you explain it in an easier way? I'm not challenging you. I'm just asking you because I still don't understand totally understand it. But I'm pretty good at the Mathematical equation for DA.
You explained this VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND....Thank you!

Great you make it easy thanks
Great video!
THANK YOU!!!!!

400 feet difference is not a big deal in performance, you need safety margin anyway....so answer is the same as far as performance......
where are you from? cool accent, thank you so much for this video! I want to become a pilot and I am very visual, so this video was awesome :)
Veni Vidi Amavi which flying school you are looking about?
Sumitava Barman Roy a flight school in San Diego, I got a scholarship there :)
@ 1:40 I feel pressure altitude must be known to understand density altitude.
Okay friend
Where could I get that book in India

You make easy concepts absurdly and entirely unnecessarily complex
