- Uganda was 38 th country I visited on my round the wolrd tour. This episode is from my first days in Uganda, which I spent mainly in The Haven with my new mates. At that time, we all needed a break from riding, so we decided to charge the batteries in this incredible lodge by the Nile, trying the local cuisine and admiring the views.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. Good video. We were in UG for 7 weeks. The culture of community is really cool there. Everyone hanging out in front of the small shops all along the roads, it's much more interactive than us in the west that barely talk to or intermingle with strangers when we're out. Nsenene (fried grass hoppers) were pretty good, would have been great with some old bay seasoning.
The lodges along the Nile are amazing as well.

You bring back my childhood memories, Habari. Loved the equator plug hole test, entebbe is only about 4 miles from the equator. Where did you stay, magnificent water falls. My time there was about 60 years ago so interesting to see the changes. We lived only a couple miles from Entebbe airport on the shores of Lake Victoria, used to rain for an hour every afternoon! We were there before independence, horrific Idi Amin rule since then. Look forward to next episode.

I tak sobie oglądam (przyznam na razie bardzo wyrywkowo, jest co oglądać :)) aż w jednym z odcinków (Włochy, poranne śniadanie) zauważyłem, że na kufrze bocznym masz obrys Polski. Myślę sobie - chyba mi się przewidziało, o co chodzi... No to już wiem, choć temat ogarnąłem całkowicie od końca :) Powodzenia!
