Greatest singer/vocalist on earth.....hands down. The colours, vocal layering, vocal dynamics, ranges, registers, clarity, techniques, multiple genres, multiple languages, commanding stage presence, incredible mastery in interpreting songs, intelligence and sensitivity in music, total understanding of music and vocal, fantastic interactions with audiences. Dimash don't just sing songs. He became the songs. His whole being is immersed in the songs he sing. You can easilysee it in his eyes, his expressions, his body and hands movements, not hust his vocals. In other words, Dimash is THE complete package.
If anyone says the Turkic makam (the traditional singing after the high part) is a tribute to the dead band member, it is incorrect. It is simply a traditional type of singing.

Love your reaction when he hits those strong powerful notes. I get so excited whenever he hits them and always want more. His ability is astounding. When many singers are in the higher range, their lower register is a little wobbly but not Dimash. His baritone is just as solid as his soprano. Ogni Pietra is mostly in his lower register and was super impressive. The first time I heard it, I thought it was a dark song and maybe even a little evil so the translation was surprising. ... very positive and encouraging. Also this song, Sinful Passion was written by the guy playing the keyboard who died suddenly. The man in the white shirt who gave him a standing ovation was Igor Kurtoy. A billionaire, award winning, composer who came out of semi retirement to work with Dimash. You'll find him in other videos as the accompanying pianist. I agree with Betsy's list. Yes when he hits those notes I almost can't believe what I am hearing and then he switches to the complete opposite end of the spectrum with low or high notes and they sound just as good as if that is his primary range. It is just mind blowing every single time! Also cool to know about the gentlemen you mentioned, I did not know that! Thank you!

In case no one else has mentioned this, the gentleman standing in the front row, clapping, is Maestro lgor. They collaborate on several of Igors' pieces.
The band is A'Studio, who wrote the song (pianist) and performed it in the late 90's. So Dimash probably heard this song as a kid, because they were a local band to him. So he got to sing with one of his influential bands! All the part after the vocalized part, starting with the eastern hammer vibrato (there is a better Kazakh name for it) is a funeral lament for the original lead singer and was added to the original song. Starting with the big lift it is probably no longer a traditional lament, but you may notice the jazz riffs have an unusual tone sequence and sound rather middle eastern to me. So maybe that part is a more modern spin on the lament. Other singers have tried to replicate that 23 second run. Some could get the length but had a lot of trouble with the jazz riffs. Probably more natural to a traditional Islamic folk singer.
Dimash’s vocal range is out of this world. It is not all about high notes. You need to go through a journey with his songs. He emotes. You don’t need to understand the lyrics to feel the emotion of the song. This particularly song Dimash went through 26 note changes. Is about his vocal techniques and abilities not just about the high notes.

Thank you that you watched the full video and picking out his kind soul. Not many reactors notice that so early in their journey discovering Dimash. Of course Dimash can’t take all the flowers with him that’s why he donates all the flowers to hospitals and homes for elderly people. He is always appreciative to the musicians with him on stage and at his solo concerts he introduces all the band members, background singers and his sound engineer and song arranger by name to his audience. He always respects other artists and teachers and gives them praises and supports children in their musical creativity. For me Dimash was/is a revelation musically and humanly. He is a role model. His humbleness, gratitude, respect and high values are transmitting on all of us fans called dears. Sinful Passion was my first song and I was hooked and SOS was the second and I fell in love with him and his voice.
I really love that he wastes no time in thanking alllllll the other members that made his performance happen. Obviously he is incredible but he recognizes that without those instruments, his performance would be severely lacking. So he does not horde the glory, he openly shares it with those who have put in just as much work as he has to make this performance possible. Very humble, just absolute class act!

The colours, vocal layering, vocal dynamics, ranges, registers, clarity, techniques, multiple genres, multiple languages, commanding stage presence, incredible mastery in interpreting songs, intelligence and sensitivity in music, total understanding of music and vocal, fantastic interactions with audiences. Dimash don't just sing songs. He became the songs. His whole being is immersed in the songs he sing. Love your reaction when he hits those strong powerful notes. I get so excited whenever he hits them and always want more. His ability is astounding. When many singers are in the higher range, their lower register is a little wobbly but not Dimash. His baritone is just as solid as his soprano. Ogni Pietra is mostly in his lower register and was super impressive. The first time I heard it, I thought it was a dark song and maybe even a little evil so the translation was surprising. ... very positive and encouraging.
Also this song, Sinful Passion was written by the guy playing the keyboard who died suddenly. The man in the white shirt who gave him a standing ovation was Igor Kurtoy. A billionaire, award winning, composer who came out of semi retirement to work with Dimash. You'll find him in other videos as the accompanying pianist. I agree with Betsy's list. Yes when he hits those notes I almost can't believe what I am hearing and then he switches to the complete opposite end of the spectrum with low or high notes and they sound just as good as if that is his primary range. It is just mind blowing every single time!

@@SuffiReax The first time I heard him I was trying to figure out what his natural voice was and kept hearing Tenor but he was so perfect at all of it, it was hard to determine and so goes the mystery of Dimash and kept me coming back for more.

Every song he sings is a vocal lesson demonstrating what hard work can produce. He takes you to school. How can you compare him to anyone else?
The band is A'Studio, who wrote the song (pianist) and performed it in the late 90's. So Dimash probably heard this song as a kid, because they were a local band to him. So he got to sing with one of his influential bands! All the part after the vocalized part, starting with the eastern hammer vibrato (there is a better Kazakh name for it) is a funeral lament for the original lead singer and was added to the original song. Starting with the big lift it is probably no longer a traditional lament, but you may notice the jazz riffs have an unusual tone sequence and sound rather middle eastern to me. So maybe that part is a more modern spin on the lament.
Other singers have tried to replicate that 23 second run. Some could get the length but had a lot of trouble with the jazz riffs. Probably more natural to a traditional Islamic folk singer.

Dimash’s vocal range is out of this world. It is not all about high notes. You need to go through a journey with his songs. He emotes. You don’t need to understand the lyrics to feel the emotion of the song. This particularly song Dimash went through 26 note changes. Is about his vocal techniques and abilities not just about the high notes.
Did you notice the 22 second section at the end on one breath while he was doing all those runs AND jumping up and down?

Thank you that you watched the full video and picking out his kind soul. Not many reactors notice that so early in their journey discovering Dimash. Of course Dimash can’t take all the flowers with him that’s why he donates all the flowers to hospitals and homes for elderly people. He is always appreciative to the musicians with him on stage and at his solo concerts he introduces all the band members, background singers and his sound engineer and song arranger by name to his audience. He always respects other artists and teachers and gives them praises and supports children in their musical creativity. For me Dimash was/is a revelation musically and humanly. He is a role model. His humbleness, gratitude, respect and high values are transmitting on all of us fans called dears. Sinful Passion was my first song and I was hooked and SOS was the second and I fell in love with him and his voice.
I really love that he wastes no time in thanking alllllll the other members that made his performance happen. Obviously he is incredible but he recognizes that without those instruments, his performance would be severely lacking. So he does not horde the glory, he openly shares it with those who have put in just as much work as he has to make this performance possible. Very humble, just absolute class act!
