    I purchased a fully loaded 2017 Lacrosse with the premium trim level and couldn't be happier. I absolutely love the way it rides and handles, especially with the sport setting on. It has so many options I'm having a blast learning them all. It is by far the quietest, best riding, and best driving car I have ever owned. It handles like a dream on any road I’ve throw at it, has plenty of power, gets excellent gas mileage and is super comfortable on long trips. And I think it is the most stylish car on the market, not gaudy but sophisticated in its looks and styling. I tested a number of competitive models from Lexus, Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, Acura, BMW and Lincoln and they just didn't compare to this car on features for the price and in many other ways. Anyone wanting a luxurious, quiet, great handling car, with plenty of power may want to take a look at the Lacrosse!

      We have a Buick Envision 2.0T and no one can compete on quality, ride, quietness, or price.

      Paul Melnychuk This competes with Lexus and usually the Buick wins. Toyota competes with Chevrolet.

    The Avalon would be on my list if it had AWD. There is only one thing I wish the LaCrosse had and that was 3 more speakers and 300 more watts of power.

    How did you get the adaptive suspension and 18" wheels. That combo isn't sold...

      This car doesn't have the sport button or the 20 inch wheels so it doesn't have the dynamic drive package.

    I have a 2010 lacrosse 143 000 km
    Never ever seen snow... Mint condition... Looks like a new car !
    I love it !!! In about 5 years I would love to pick up a 2017 model up.

      David Doonan my Mom has 68K miles on her 2011 Lacrosse 2.4l and it rides very well. Handles well too with lighter 4-cylibder up front.

    Beats the Lexus ES in almost every comparison they go together.

    The new LaCrosse looks pretty good, the rear end could use some more love though. Also, while the interior is generally nice, that large slab of black plastic that flows up to the center stack looks kind of blah. Nice all rounder though.

    Nice job here, Justin. Always enjoy your thorough, but fast-moving reviews. Nice car too. Good at its intended purpose. Now, if only GM will see fit to put the (404 hp) 3.0TT V6 from the Cadi CT6 under the hood of a Lacrosse SS. It's already got the suspension and light weight to make more than good use of a power upgrade. C'mon, GM! Give those of us hitting the big 4-oh this year something to aspire to...

      The Taurus sho and CT5 seem like good alternatives but will probably cost 50-60k . At that price I'd consider Hyundai 5.0 or Mercede

  • @KingOfShadows1500

    CoupÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉ! It's pronounced ''coupÉ'', for fuck's sake! It comes from the French word ''coupé'', which means ''cut'' (past participle).

    • @johnsmythe1841
      @johnsmythe1841 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      KingsofShadows1500 But most folks in the US and Canada are going to say 'coupe', as in 'coop'. That's the way it's always been and there's no need or desire to say 'coo-pay'.

    • @KingOfShadows1500
      @KingOfShadows1500 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Smythe It really doesn't matter what most people will say; ''coop'' is the wrong way of saying it. It's ''coupé''. Saying it any other way makes you wrong.

    • @johnsmythe1841
      @johnsmythe1841 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, KingofShadows, it DOES matter what people say. They don't see it as a French word, and when told, don't give a shit. So we're 'wrong' per proper French? What have we lost? The English call the word 'aluminium' and Americans say 'aluminum'. Nobody is gonna change and what have we lost? Thats some shit you need to let go of, because, again, nobody will change.

    • @KingOfShadows1500
      @KingOfShadows1500 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      John Smythe No, it does not. Language has rules and those rules are meant to be followed. It's not about losing anything; it's simply about correct pronunciation. Incorrect pronunciation is annoying and makes me and many other people cringe, so I don't care whether people will change or not: I will still call them out for saying words the wrong way (at least when it's socially acceptable, which means online).
      Your logic doesn't make sense; it's basically saying that we should just give up and adjust language according to popular mistakes. If we applied that mentality to grammar and spelling, no language would be recognizable fifty years from now. What's so hard about making one bit of extra effort and learning how to spell or pronounce words properly?

    • @johnsmythe1841
      @johnsmythe1841 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      KingofShadows Again, like it or not, Americans who speak Standard American English, are not bound by the rules of the French language. We've called coupes 'coops' for so long, we're NEVER GOING TO CHANGE. You coming on here with 'coo-pay' clearly hasn't garnered much support. Nobody cares. Per the rules of Queens English, we should call four door cars 'saloons' but instead call them 'sedans'. Does that get you up in arms? My logic makes perfect sense, and just because you disagree doesn't mean I'm wrong. Does this debating style ever work for you? I doubt it. You mentioned 'no language would be recognizable fifty years from now'. Well guess what? English from the 1700s is so completely different from now, it's almost unrecognizable. Languages CHANGE, or didn't you know that? Get over your attempts to play Internet English Teacher (French Specialty). Nobody will change.
