You did a good job taking the time to film everything. The trunk should have been closed though it would have had a little better result on all of them
Great video, love the comparison based on factory power, or full aftermarket power, and talk about active cross-overs via that power amps. Great mounting clues, I WAS SO LOST 20 years ago, I tried to replace my speakers, completely failed, with some huge magnet Infinity speakers I spent a ton of money on; they didn't fit with the existing grills, I could not figure out what to do; I ran them without the grills! I then lost the grills; now I know how to get them on there; and I have to order some used ones ;-) Sheesh, what a nightmare. We didn't have the wiring converters handy back then either, i made the mistake of doing a soldering job; it turned out so bad! Nor TH-cam installation videos... Your video fixes all my problems, thank you!

I found a couple factory kicker replacement for the tsx but you're enlightening me as I go. Not sure which to choose
Alpine spr69 fit perfect also spr 17s components with a little modification I did the easy way by removing the factory door speaker from the plastic surround so that it just clips back in , I'm also doing a major upgrade running active with complete big 3 1/0 awg stinger second battery agm isolater alpine pxa h800 dsp relocating amps to rear under parcel shelf tray complete interior stripped out noico sound deadening floor and doors keep the vids coming

How did you go about mounting yours?
@@impropernovice2149 Uhh… I didn’t really. Not the answer you’re looking for but I re-installed the ash-tray box and tucked the wiring underneath that then I put the Amplifier in and just kept test fitting it until I got the upper storage to click in. No issues as of yet
@@xenonsaccord4447 yeah I figured, basically just letting it sit in there as there’s no real place to mount it especially with all the wires
@@impropernovice2149 Correct. Not the best solution I realize but I do take corners quite quickly and nothing has disturbed it so far.

I replaced all the stock speakers with new old stock, and used 300w Infinity REF-9632ix 6x9s for the rear deck. I have to say they are a nearly perfect stock replacement they sounded fantastic even with the stock amp but it just died on me lol. So I am doing the PNP upgrade you guys suggested. It will be here Monday ! Cant wait to hear how it sounds ! Do you guys have a video where you mount it back in the car? I'm curious how I should go about that. 🙌🙌🙌

@@atomicforcegaming2867 mines was low for some reason when I first plugged it up, so I’m still using the stock amp for now, til my spare tire sub comes in to fix everything for good
There are subs made for free-air/infinite baffle. Look for drivers with a QTS at or above .5 and kicker usually make a free air model as well as pioneer. To make the bass even more pronounced, try to cover any other holes in the rear deck.

I have a 2012 impala LTZ with the Bose sound system.I want to get better sound and I have a few questions.I want to know if pioneer or kicker is better than Bose and I have speakers that are like your TSX but I got speakers instead of subs in the back like the your TSX does.What set up should I do that’s not ridiculously expensive.My speakers are 3 way.Bass,mid range,treble.Can you help me.Also I don’t want to have to cut wires and heat shrink them or get adapters because I don’t know what I’d be looking for
I’m willing to put subs in the back since my car comes with an amp being the Bose sound system.I dont know if I need a different amp though.Factory radio for now and factory amp currently
JBL is matching to factory sub but factory sub is best in all it produce more lows
What PNP Amp do you think will work best for the JBL full set? Or what set up do you think is the best? AMP and full set of speakers.
Probably just depends on the type of speakers you chose🤔
JBL and the MB Quart 4 channel for the best price and loudness.
Can I take the 6x9s from my Ford Taurus and throw them in there? One of the 6x9s in the back of my 06 accord just started making popping sounds randomly.

Just replaced the stock with those JBLs but the rear deck started to rattle, especially at lower volumes because it gets easier to hear the rattle. Any ways to fix that?

they aren't bad speakers. We aren't sure how the 6x9 lines up the rear. But for the doors the spacers will make it simple.

Could you show us how you mounted the JBL.
all screws partially screwed down then work each one at the time. The screws line up but need some work.
