Dear Swami, I have watched every one of your 23 lectures on the Atma Bodha and enjoyed them throughly. Your exposition of Advaita Vedanta with expert knowledge of Sanskrit enlivened by your jokes and bubbling good humour was one bright light during this Covid pandemic. Please accept my deep thanks and gratitude!

Swamiji, it was my misfortune that I discovered you so late. Despite my keen interest and intensive reading, I couldn't fully understand many key concepts. The way you explain, slowly, patiently and elaborately and analytically, has really illumined me. In you I have found a Guru I was searching for.

Swamiji, I do not know how I can thank you for this series of Atma Buddha. It has never been THAT clear to me, I took 2 notebook of notes which I need to go over and over again. I am eternally grateful to you, to TH-cam and pandemic that made all this possible. I could not visit my teachers in India in the last 2 years due to covid, and you filled that void with this class, thank you thank you thank you. It has been so good to stop the video, take notes and resume again, thank you TH-cam, I did not miss a word. And thank you covid that you brought us all together in a weird but wonderful way. When the pandemic is over, I will definitely come to your ashram just to meet you, to see you in person, to thank you in person. Many many thanks swamiji.

Thank you for this expository tour de force on Atma Bodha, Swamiji! I learned, and more importantly unlearned, so much over the past 23 weeks and for that I am grateful to you.
Incidentally, I have been using the first verse of the Advaita Makaranda in my upasana lately. So, I was delighted to hear that you will be unfolding that text next year. Now I cannot complain any more that the Lord ignores all my prayers!

I have thoroughly enjoyed these lectures, alongside others via the Vedanta NY channel; it's amazing how much the text resonates with you and how quickly you can pick up on the Sanskrit terminology - a testament to having a good teacher no doubt (SwamiJi). Now, I feel like I will need another lifetime, just to read all the Vedic scriptures out there, lol, so much for moksha; my thirst for this type of knowledge has always been present, however, after 25yrs, I still believe there is so much more to learn - I never get bored of listening to all of this.

Guruji, a voice from the past from your San Antonio "fan club", which sprang during your annual visits nearly two decades ago (I've since moved). I'm eternally grateful for your inspiration, spiritual teachings and guidance. I have found no greater teacher and thankful to have re-connected online, thoroughly enjoying your classes on Atma Bodha. I can't get over how young Adi Shankara was when he penned this amazing work on absolute true knowledge for all eternity - it is said that he died when he was only about 34! A history reading of his life and spiritual accomplishments are very captivating as well. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for sharing this class with us. This is my first encounter with the teachings of Hinduism, but I felt like I have been here before. I have some problems remembering the meanings of all the words, (foreign language is not my favorite thing to learn) but no problems grasping the concepts of what you were trying to convey. As such I have found it very illuminating. Especially given the fact that I was raised conservative christian. I will join you in your next class, but will keep coming back to this class until I have it better internalized. I know that it has already had an effect on my life. Thank you again.

Thankyou Swamiji for your personal touch with those kind words about feeling like you only see us and not the camera, I really felt that.
I'm here in Australia and I'm probably not one of your more diligent students. I've been listening to your videos since about two years ago when I was going through a life changing awareness change if you like, some might call it a mid life crisis but I think it's more an awakening of the consciousness, and since listening to the first of your videos I saw, "The Vastness of Consciousness" I was totally hooked by the profound honestly in that video and I continued on from there.
I usually mostly put your videos on when I go to bed and listen to them before I go to sleep and I usually get through one, sometimes two or more as they play automatically depending on when I fall asleep. The Bhagavad Gita when it was available I must have played 50 times or more and I'm glad I wrote down my favourite part around Arduna asking Krishna to explain the way of the wise beginning with verse 48.
I apparently have had PTSD since I was 9 and I struggle to absorb information, my short term memory isn't really good and obviously that affects long term memory as well but I love listening to the wisdom in the Bhagavad Gita. I'm so sad I can't play it any more even the beautiful delivery you give to it must have taken effort but you make it sound effortless and seamless. It's so beautiful. Like every time I hear you say Brahman, it sounds like it's coming straight from your heart. I love it.
I was a little similar to you in that I developed an allergy to Christianity in my early teens when I couldn't understand or accept that I'm wicked just because I want answers to my questions about God and Jesus. It made no sense to me.
I'd love to be firmly established in the knowledge about my pure consciousness being unaffected by anything but I don't know where to begin.. Do I have so much wrong thinking rolled up in my 47 years that it's just difficult to penetrate.
I feel sometimes I'm not being my best self by diligently studying and writing down what I'm listening to but maybe I'm not meant to in this life? I've always had an aversion to study and school because of my early problems and I don't know what I really should be doing. Even with these teachings I still feel a little lost which tells me I'm probably not absorbing them like I could be.
I can't help thinking when you say, "repeat after me" (in Sanskrit) Easy for you to say? Lol 😁 My tongue has a mind of it's own!
I love it but I could do better.
Thankyou Swamiji and I will continue to listen and I hope you can get the Bhagavad Gita back up that is an absolute masterpiece and God bless you mate. Brad.
