Yes I love my kindle!! We are a military family and with frequent moves I don’t want a ton of books to pack up and move each time so the kindle just works better for me!
I also love how I can adjust the size of the font to make it easier to read.
It also just travels easier than paper books.
Gotta love that large font! This new one also has warm light not night reading. I love that feature!

I LOVE this idea. I have a few of the back only covers I purchased in colors. I'm obsessed because I like seeing my book cover without opening the case. I did put some stickers on the outside of two clear ones...and didn't like the vibe...THIS IS GENIUS. I am ordering some paper today and try again. THANK you 😊. I love my new kindle I like the larger size actually I hope they make an 8" at some point. I love reading books in that size nowadays. I read one or two physical books then a few on my kindle so I am back and forth. I agree nothing is better than reading in bed than the PW. 📚❤️
Oh you're gonna have so much fun! I love the bigger size too. At first I thought it was too heavy, but when I changed the case to the clear one, it was much better. I also love the warm light this one has. I don't think I could fall asleep at night anymore without reading first. 😴

I read on my Kindle almost every night before bed!! I love mine! I have a Paperwhite so I don't bug my husband as much when he's trying to sleep lol.
I don't think I could fall asleep without it!

I love reading on my paperwhite too. I've never seen the clear kindle case before, mine is in a otterbox case which is really sturdy but not nearly as cute. I absolutely love this!!!📚🥰

I have a kindle, as well, and use it alot. I sometimes read books on my phone but after a while it bothers my eyes, so the kindle is my preferred way to read ebooks. I have an older kindle and just use a cloth sleeve to store it in, so over the years I have put stickers on the back of my kindle for decoration. lol! But I love this idea! Whenever I update my kindle one day, I'll have to keep this in mind.

Another kindle using here. I love that I can read in bed without the light on and that I can always pick up where I last left off on my phone when I don't have my kindle with me. I had no idea you could get clear cases though, what a great idea.

Hi Stacey, first I love this idea. I do have a kindle I love reading but find a physical book can be heavy as I read everywhere. The kindle is just convenient, I do love the feel of a book with my coffee, pages turning and book markers. I find I also read alot more with the kindle. So I went down the rabbit hole ordered a clear case and paper. I do find books are cheaper on the kindle. We don't have many thrift stores where I live so I usually by my books on amazon. Thank you for doing this channel.

@@wanderingwithstacy It really is quite hard! I like audio, so if there's a book I'm not sure about or if there's a narrator I like, I'll skip the e-book (or physical copy)

Love how much fun you had with this video. I no longer have a Kindle... I didn't care to read on it. I think I read one book on it, and then played sims on it until it died

@@wanderingwithstacy I did have a Kindle fire. My cousin bought it for me because she thought I had too many books😂. I just prefer to hold a physical copy in my hand. I like the sound of the pages turning, and the Kindle just doesn't smell nearly as good as a physical book. Also the Kindle was not nearly as pretty to look at on the shelf😉. However, I never decorated mine like you did. What can I say.... I'm just an old fashioned gal. An old soul, if you will☺️. I know many people really enjoy reading on a Kindle. It just isn't for me😊.

I literally tried to do this and the corners would look weird and the sides as well no matter what I did. I tried tracing around my Kindle and around the case and it came out like crap both times. Any suggestions?

I just got the kindle during prime day and I love it so far! Just ordered a clear case so i can decorate mine :) I'm hoping it will help me to replace my phone screen time with more reading and i love it for reading before bed

I used to do that all of the time with my phone case 😄. I probably had over 50-100 printed backgrounds. I decorated my one kindle case by cutting up an old Peter Pan book and collaged with it (don't tell anyone I cut a book 😱)
That's so cool! I've seen people decorate their phones before but I didn't think much about it. Now I want to use scrapbook paper on everything! I used to decoupage with old book pages, so you're secrets safe with me😉

I use the kindle app on my iPad mostly these days! However, I still have a kindle paper white, I would use it if I wanted to read outside. I’ll be honest I do a lot of audible audio.
I listen to a ton of books as well!

this is such a good idea, i have the same kindle and looking at getting a clear case for it, i was just wondering what measurements were the paper that you used and how did you cut the corners so they fit perfect, i would love to do this for my kindle.. i am always using it and i dont tend to read actual books much now, its so much easier reading an ebook. thank you in advance :) x
Glad it was helpful! I didn't really measure it, just sat the kindle on top the paper and cut around it. I love being able to switch them up all the time!
