This is brilliant. So I imagine the dryer was making lots of noise before this fix? How has the bearing held up with prolonged use? Thanks!

This looked enticing, but I couldn't find a bearing with an OD that would fit my dryer. There is no such thing as 5/8" x 1 1/4" on Amazon. I tried 3 different sizes and no luck. 😒

did you take the old one out and measure it? I am ready to do this replacement myself.
