🎤😂 Standup comedy on the similarities between Tinder and Zillow.
✍ The long boring story behind the jokes, presented for comedy nerds: One day my wife and I were lying on the bed browsing Zillow, as married people do, and she was like "hey Zillow is Tinder for married people." And I was like that's hilarious can I tweet that? She was like, yes, I will give you this joke. Which is like the best gift a comedian can get. Anyway, I tweeted it. It got thousands of retweets (thanks in large part to a retweet with comment by Hank Green).
So I was like hmm what are the actual similarities. I wrote up a piece and submitted it to a humor magazine. They failed to see the brilliance of my jokes (well, originally my wife's) and it was promptly rejected. But then I thought: Hey, I should try this list on stage. Ergo, this piece.
In conclusion, if you are actually still reading all this please write a comment that uses the word "mechanization" in a sentence as our secret signal 😊
