I used a leather carving knife (swivel knife) and stamps. I started with this stamp set, and bought a few individually from Tandy Leather as well: amzn.to/32D6utW
OLD Leather Smith here, your stamping work is excellent, but your sound is set 2 low. Even your swivel work is ok. Please bin the future adjust your sound up. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
I’m about to start making bookmarks, really glad to find this video!
Very nice work ad thank you for making this video.
Thank you, my pleasure!
Good looking bookmarks and great usage for smaller pieces of scrap leather.
How thick was the leather that you used for these? TIA
Please allow the name of the tool that decorated the leather belt and thank you

Do you also seal the back of the bookmark?
Hello tks for the vid...what size thickness was the leather u used. And where did u get it from thanks. Beautiful work!!
5-6 oz leather from tandy, though thinner may be better for a bookmark!
@@MorleyKert why thinner, I would think u want it to be ridget
It would just be easier to close the book with the bookmark inside. It's personal preference, up to you!
Thanks 4 getting back!
Hello. What weight and cut of leather do you use for the bookmarks?
I think I used scraps from a 4/5 or 5/6 Oz shoulder.
@@MorleyKert thank you for the response!
