all the mentions of people hearing pewdiepie talk about The Room is pretty funny, because PJ is the one who introduced Felix to the movie in the first place. In my little world i like to think PJ is the sole reason anyone knows about this god forsaken film.

I’ve met tommy wiseau recently at a screening of The Room lmao he was a great guy, was wearing like 13 belts. He kept asking if my bf was “The guy in T-Rex movie? Yah..yah you’re good! You’re good in it!” ???? What trex movie on earth is he talking about? My bf looks nothing like anyone in Jurassic Park, can’t find many other “T-Rex” movies, I meeean ??

I am devastated. I have loved the room for YEARS (thanks to you, my friend) and I was so zazzed when I heard about this movie. I ran to my dad (who also loves it- we watch it twice a year together at minimum) and we were both already ready to go out and get tickets. I then found out that it was a limited release and my theatre (which I also work at) WASNT GETTING IT. Now, I know what you’re thinking (“just go to another theatre”) but NO the closest theatre that is playing it is on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STATE. 0/10 state would not live in again.
Aw that sucks, hope it comes out on dvd soon

Anybody else just love watching people talk about things they're passionate about? Man it gets me jazzed (my personal niche obsession is fossil collecting, so hit me up if you wanna chat about ancient dead sea critters)
That's my favorite thing about TH-cam. There's just something really endearing about listening to someone talk about the things they love, regardless of what they are or whether I'm into them. I think part of it is because authenticity is sadly rare these days and it's like catching a glimpse of people being 100% genuine about something for no other reason than because they love it and want to share that feeling.

Oh man Peej you basically summed up exactly how I felt about the whole thing! One of my friends showed me The Room a few years ago and it was such a brilliant experience. I went with her to The Disaster Artist last week and it was hilarious. I was worried that the film would just make fun of Tommy but thankfully it actually made him (and Greg) both characters whose success we were rooting for. I did have the same slight issue about Dave Franco playing Greg but he played the character so well that it didnt really matter by the end. Also I feel like josh hutcherson playing Denny was fantastic. I still haven't read the book but I'm definitely tempted to now

You could still watch The Disaster Artist, although it revolves around The Room, I don't think in-depth knowledge of it is required. I went in not having seen The Room but it was still a pretty good film.

In my town, there is a special movie theater called the Loft that shows The Room every year. It is sold out every year, everyone wants to see the "worst movie of all time." At my school we are creating a short film making fun of The Room as well

I've heard of the original from a friend who is into film, he told me that it was just a hilariously terrible movie and I've seen some memey things of it but never had much desire to see it. I went into the Disaster Artist knowing absolutely nothing about it, purely because some friends had tickets, and my reaction was definitely the latter. It completely pulled me into that whole weird world and I definitely have that itch to know more.

The Room honestly has been life changing and one of my favorite life experiences has been meeting Tommy Wiseau because he’s even more quirky in person. I’m super excited to see this and James Franco’s adaptation

I first heard about The Room on one of Pewdiepie's videos and recently I watched the Honest Trailer about it which was hilarious! I'm going to have watch The Room and I'd also like to see The Disaster Artist. If it gets the PJ thumbs up, considering how passionate you are about The Room, than it must be well done! ❤️

I just saw the disaster artist last night and my friends and i were so excited about it. my entire film class is practically obsessed with The Room and it was amazing to be able to see the movie as a physical vision. also something else that i thought was interesting was the audience that was watching the movie. the ages varied throughout the theatre and you could tell who had seen the room just by their little giggles right before big moments. in general it was an amazing experience and I'm really glad i got to watch it

The Room is also a book if you would like to read that. I personally haven't read it, but my mom absolutely loved it.

this is my favorite type of video ever. not a lot of editing, but alot of ´passion´ about a subject. i could listen to people talking about their obsessions all day lol
This is a very insightful review of the room and I think PJ should do some more film reviews. Most reviews are not as passionate as this and sometimes are just a string of complaints and criticisms. PJ really shows his interest with this film and I think this is good because in a way it's showing people that if they stray away from the crowd and dig a little deeper into the vast quirky world around us, it does pay off. :) I think I would consider watching this film.
