    I suppose I am just one of the people that wonders what companies are doing with my personal biometric information. But that being said, most devices in daily life gather most biometrics anyway, but I have more pause about it now than I used to. I do truly want to improve my quality of life and appreciate your channel. I'm looking forward to the demo of the device and I will weigh my options. Thanks so much!

      @lightwavz I completely hear you on this and I think it's a really great and reasonable point! What are companies doing with all our data? I can definitely understand privacy being a concern for people. I have several videos coming up demonstrating Oxa, talking about the pros and cons, etc. You might enjoy at least listening in. But I'm with you, at the end of the day, these devices are not going to be right for everyone and may not even facilitate so much extra benefit compared to the good lifestyle choices you are already making. Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your viewpoint on this. I really appreciate you.

      @BELightTT Thank you! I will definitely watch the future videos and the demo. You have been a great help to me over the past few years and I do value your opinion as well as these options coming to market. I am all for proactive health and just continuing to learn.

    Thank you for the unboxing.....Are you at all concerned with the EMFs that this and other wireless modalities offer?.........I am always looking for wired products to avoid them.......Would love to know your thoughts

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Jo-Ann-yw4ym Nice to see you! Thank you for watching and commenting. To be honest, Jo-Ann, for me, fighting the EMFs is a losing battle. As an online solopreneur, I am absolutely glued to either my phone, my computer, or both ALL DAY!😫I am so obsessive and meticulous with so many of my lifestyle habits (including removing as much of the toxic load as I can from my environment) that I just don't have the energy to prioritize or care about another thing. In 2024, I think it's virtually impossible to escape the myriad waves that we are all bathing in daily. And for me personally, I just don't think it is the biggest offender nor the biggest needle-mover on my health. I do try to turn my wifi off at night while sleeping, but I don't even always manage that. In terms of these devices, I have other reasons for not recommending them to people (I have a video coming out on that soon). The EMF thing might be something you want to consider. I would say this is definitely true if you already KNOW that you are sensitive to EMFs. Then, you should almost certainly avoid these portable devices. But otherwise, you are wearing this device for a relatively brief period of time, I don't think it's a huge deal. I'm not sure if this response helps or not. At the end of the day, we each have to do what we think is best for our individual bodies. Hope you're doing well and having a great week!💖

    Hello again - I had wanted to (or may have) mention that breath-holding settled my HRV in the center of "Balanced" as measured by a Garmin watch. I do track all things because as a therapist, I feel that I should practice myself and be able to have the data to back it up. This may be something I could refer to my patients.

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi @Mytchell That's a great tip about the breath holds. I agree. A simple breath-hold practice can be a powerful neurological "reset" for many people. That's so great that you had that experience. And also, what a wonderful therapist you must be to put yourself "through the paces" so that you can better guide your clients. They are lucky to have you! I will be making a few more videos about this device, with demonstrations and talking through what I think are the pros and cons. Check them out when you get a chance. They might provide you with enough information to make a more informed decision. 😉Also, I saw your wonderful email! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out, introduce yourself and connect on a deeper level. I've been a bit busy this week, but I absolutely promise to respond as soon as I can. Looking forward to connecting more and learning about your work. Have a great day!

    The sensor looks really big. The strap looks sturdier than the strap for a "cheap" Garmin device I used to monitor basic heart rate with. That Garmin device often didn't work for me, and it seems I sometimes had to build up sweat before it would establish "contact". I don't know if it had something to do with my bradycardia or the fact that the old school watch style battery was going bad. Thanks for pointing this out. I Hope it works with Garmin GPS devices.

    • @utilars
      @utilars 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry, I guess this does more than just measure heart rate. My appologies.

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@utilars Hi there! Yes, it does WAY MORE than just heart rate. When integrated with the Oxa app, it's sort of an at-home, personalized breathing coach, which tracks your metrics and gives feedback in real-time to help you elicit your desired physiological response. I appreciate what you said about the Garmin. I think a lot of people have that issue actually. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Shawn. I appreciate you. Have a great day!
