Also, I know you've mentioned Top Gear on here a few times (I think), and that's one of my top 10 all time favorites! Have you tried Horizon Chase Turbo for the Switch, by chance? It's essentially a spiritual successor and even had the soundtrack done by Top Gear's original composer!

Played this game to death as a kid. It may well have been the first game I ever completed. The hit boxes were janky and most of the tracks were never ending curves. Rarely any straight sections to really throttle it up, but the championship mode, the pixel map of the US, the upgrades, betting and police, the mad characters and the music really made it for me. Love it. Thanks for giving it a video 👍

Games like these made me realise:
Many didn't flop because they were _awful_ but because they seemed to be tailored for a different demographic.
Tell me if, with a few tweaks, a game like this wouldn't be succesful with today's 90s gen? (contrary to then's 90s gen)
More than 2 players, stats for the drivers, more items options...

This looks pretty much like clon the of Lotus Turbo Challenge and Top Gear, just with less tracks and way worse controls.

"Tight-us"? You mean, TIT-US! Lol. But yeah, most of their games WERE pretty bad and forgettable, but this one actually looks like a surprisingly enjoyable racing game on SNES. I may consider checking it out. Great video!

On the one stage it appears that you’re driving towards like 8 different cities- all on the horizon and all separated by a bit of distance- they’re all around you and you’re always the same distance from all of them- you never reach any one. Maybe you are inside this enormous ring city.

I actually never played this game. Pretty cool concept on using The Mouse and the super scope. And it's pretty dope that one person can driving the other ones shoot. It's like that arcade game that agvn played lucky and Wild with Mike

The PC version is way better IMO. It had some great cheesy FMVs that were the reward for me when progressing. Like winning seat warmers for my car!

I know you mentioned top gear at the end but the graphics look very similar to topgear 3000 that I played a fair bit of but with police and accessories support, cool.

Okay, that "hidden gamemode" with the gun is really freaking hilarious!
Hey, how about a video about other games that feature like "unexpected gamemodes"?

"Superman 64 was responsible for my favorite AVGN episode."
Which one? The first or second Superman 64 video?

Good old Pole Position arcade is exactly what the GBA version sounds like. I swear it’s like they copied and pasted the sound from one to the other lol 😆 😂 😝

Wow, I had no idea this game was compatible with the Super Scope and mouse. Granted, I would have had no way to make use of that functionality since I never had those accessories but still neat to learn all these years later.
