Oooh I'm so excited about that jacket, the inside is going to look fabulous with that binding. It's so nice to work with a fabric that presses 👏🏼I've done too many sweater knits later that it's pointless even bothering to press 😂😂. Your pronunciation of ' Bechamel' is just lovely so much better than our 'Betcha -mell ' 😱😆. Enjoy your day xxx❤
Yes, the insides are going to look amazing but oh my goodness, Hong Kong seam finishing is tedious 😂 You basically have to sew each seam 5 times!! Oh I have sewn with those poly blends that refuse to take a press. Very frustrating! Your comment re: my pronounciation of Bechamel made me laugh. There are so many words that sound so much better coming out of your mouth with your British accent! Xx 💞
Hey izzie, i love Salmon pie puisque i dont care for bechamel sauce i pour gravy over it . Yiup i know eewww, your grandma would not approve haha. I like that you are finishing your jacket with a hong kong finish . It takes time but well worth it. Cant wait to see the finished jacket. Till later.
I can’t wait to see the jacket. I will definitely take a look at the recipe. My day was ok no sewing as I did some dusting that desperately needed to be done.
I’m really excited about it. The Hong Kong seams are really tedious though… 😂 When you made yours, did you manage to use binding on your sleeve seams as well?
@@dizzyquiltsandsews Thank you! I have the Chorus pattern but haven’t made it yet. It’s in the plan for a summer trip to Italy! I don’t recall if you’ve made that one or not.
There were two labels in the Kylie calendar today, might have slipped down.
I saw that when I watched other unboxings. Definitely only one in mine. Oh well!
I love a Hong-Kong finish ❤ it's going to look absolutely amazing.
I do too! Thank you! 😊
The recipe looks very good. 😊 Thank you.
It’s not bad at all!

Well, dusting has to get done doesn’t it? My sewing room needs a deep clean and I’ll definitely get to that after Christmas!
You made great progress on your Ilford!

Ohhh, loved the sneak peak of your jacket Izzy😊 I had a great sewing day today and made the Chloe top from Sinclair Patterns.
I saw your Chloe on the Sinclair FB group - it’s beautiful!! Reminds me a little bit of the Chorus Top by Love Notions.

@ I have! I made it twice last summer and I really like it.
❤
Hi Izzy, what kind of seam finishing are you doing on your jacket. It looks great!
It’s called Hong Kong seams. If you Google it, there are a ton of TH-cam videos on it. It’s really a stunning finish, but takes forever! 😂
What is Ibiqua? Im probably spelling it wrong?
Quebecois??
Quebec in French
Yup everyone is right. It’s Quebecois which means from Quebec. 😊
