If there is one thing that I kind of admire about Democrats it's that they set aside personal matters to advance their greater political goal. I swear if political matters didn't intervene Obama wouldn't help Joe Biden if he was on fire. Neither one seems to have any kind of real affection for the other, in private probably closer to contempt. Obama didn't back Biden until the very last minute in 2020, Bernie was all that was left and the Dem establishment just couldn't have that.
