    I first used these about 30 years ago. They are great, but always check where your studs are before drilling a 1/2" hole. Good video!

      Yes always check first. I should have included that information in the video.

      Thanks for the feedback. You may want to make a video about metal studs and very heavy objects. I learned as a maintenance tech that you can drill through a metal stud and then use a toggler there.

      @@RDM-346 Yes I should. I had a job hanging huge Elk Head mounts on the walls of the Kuiu Hunting gear store and had some issues with screws stripping out of the metal studs . I end up using something like the toggle. That's the only thing that would work to hang these heads to the wall

    Could you use this for hanging a decorative shelf too?

    Haven’t seen this exact type of anchor! Thank you! I’m getting some today to mount my racks in our newly finished basement bathroom. I will report back.

      They work good. It’s my go to anchor when you need something strong I’m sheet rock

    better solution then most of the youtube videos I have viewed but I do want to hang from the towel bar before it would give way and suggestions?

    • @TheUltimateHandymanKyle
      @TheUltimateHandymanKyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It would need to be mounted on the studs and the towel bar would break before the screws and brackets came out. You would need to get a bar that doubled as a grab bar.

      But then that little screw is responsible for all the weight, right? I’m so done with these hidden screws 😢. It’s like a part time job keeping these on the wall! 😭

    I have never seen these before, today struggled with standard toggle bolts to install a wall mounted storage in apt Reno. You should of left a link for them but should be easy to find.

    I figured I had to find a way to mount to the studs??? no?

    • @TheUltimateHandymanKyle
      @TheUltimateHandymanKyle  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If your lucky you could mount it to 2 studs. Usually you can mount a towel bar to one and use these anchor for the other side.

    Wrong NEVER. Complete the tightening process with a drill you will crush the drywall
