No problem
Be warned that some bidet models can draw a LOT of power, especially if they heat the water, which could potentially overload the circuit, say if someone is using a hairdryer in the adjacent bathroom. Generally it's better to add a dedicated 15A circuit for a powered bidet.
That’s possible. I find that to be true with older homes. I’ve had no problem with this at my house built in the 90s. If this were to happen then someone can decide to run a dedicate circuit.
I assume you meant Biden not Bidet. I always use a Biden to wipe the crap off my a**
Hahaha 😂
Are there Valves that have 2 exist lines. I need one for the Faucet and another for the Dishwasher.
Yes they sell them at any hardware store or big home improvement stores
IMHO -- If you are new to the bidet world, I strongly suggest you start with an inexpensive model that does not require an electrical connection or any special plumbing. I think you will find such a bidet will give you perfectly adequate functionality & benefit without the expense, trouble, etc. of a powered unit. Not to get too graphic, but tap-temperature water is just fine, and blow-drying just ain't for me. But ... to each their own.
It’s the cold toilet seat that gets me in the winter. Once you get a toilet seat that can heat up it’s shocking when you sit on one without it. The pluming on the inexpensive bidet are similar to the electric ones. The only difference is adding the outlet.
Thank you. I used toothpicks as the wood and i fixing screw holes in my speaker boxes ❤
That’s great. Good job
We implemented this idea for our backyard gate. Now bunnies could no longer come into our backyard to devour our plants. Thank you so much! :D
That’s cool. I’m glad it worked for you.
Thanks for this!! So easily explained
No problem. Good luck with your toilet inspection.
I got 7 meter driveway and need to install pipe for cable, any idea for 7 meter long, thank you in advance
You need one of these tools. Maybe you can rent it. Good luck with your project th-cam.com/video/psLEq0WUSC8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dSGC5uVVPbs7elao
Why did you remove the can? Is it not usable with the new light? Can’t you just wire the blue and red wires to the black and white ones?
There is a way to do that. You would have to splice in a screw in bulb socket. It’s better just to use a new can that already has the screw in socket and housing so there is no need to splice wires. Let me know if you come up with something better.
A thin film of oil on the cam aids in installation and is noted on cummins quickserv. It makes all the difference. Heat the gear at 400 minimum 1 hour and not to exceed 4 hours.
I read somewhere that putting oil may cause the cam to work it’s way off over time. That would have made it a lot easier. I’ll look into that. I hope I never have to do this job again
It was all fun and games until I discovered that my concrete sidewalk was 7" deep with a gravel bed...just trying to run a 5 ft PVC 5/8" diameter under front walk so I could link garden hoses with each other for flower bed sprinklers. Working around already planted flowers, so moving out trenches farther than 4' on each side not really an option. Sigh.
That sucks!
my old ones are soldered on and in fact i'm pretty sure they built the wall around them after because there's no remove to even cut them off. I'll have to heat them to remove them.
Good luck with that. Be careful not to un solder the pipe that’s in the wall.
Excellent video, thanks! Now it's time to bore a hole...
Thanks. Good luck
@@TheUltimateHandymanKyle Got 'er done and worked out fine, thanks to you!
@@johnroberts3824 That's great. Good Job
I first used these about 30 years ago. They are great, but always check where your studs are before drilling a 1/2" hole. Good video!
Yes always check first. I should have included that information in the video.
@TheUltimateHandymanKyle Thanks for the feedback. You may want to make a video about metal studs and very heavy objects. I learned as a maintenance tech that you can drill through a metal stud and then use a toggler there.
@@RDM-346 Yes I should. I had a job hanging huge Elk Head mounts on the walls of the Kuiu Hunting gear store and had some issues with screws stripping out of the metal studs . I end up using something like the toggle. That's the only thing that would work to hang these heads to the wall
See you banged that thumb. Ouch
Yes working on a custom built in bbq. That was under my mail for 6 months.
Thanks. I just came from browsing the hardware store to see what I was getting into. My supply valve to one of my toilets won't turn off the water, and I need to replace the fill and flapper. Thought it would be simple, and then noticed I couldn't shut off the water. I guess I could have shut off the main supply to the house, but might as well replace the valve to the toilet.
Yea you could turn the whole house off just to make the repair. In the long run it’s best to replace the valve by the toilet so you can quickly turn off the water in an emergency.
Why the need for the unnecessarily scary thumbnail?! You scared my little daughter.
My mad frustrated face scared your daughter? How old is she?
Hey I have head board from Home Depot that seems to more of a mdf type material. It’s not wood. I’m have trouble getting it to bend. Even with these techniques. Any thoughts?
The mdf is not as flexible and will snap. I’ve never tried to bend it. Maybe if you get it really wet. That might damage the the surface of the mdf.
Send me a link so I can see what you are trying to bend
What if it's connected to galvanized pipe?
So that tells me you have pipe threads so you need a valve that screws on to the pipe. Make sure you hold the pipe when removing the old valve. You don’t want to start unscrewing the pipe in the wall because that can cause leaks.
Loved your video. Me and my daughter switched a leaking valve following your instructions. The only thing was knowing how much to tighten the nut. For me as a woman it was very thigh. Took all my strength. When I went half a turn it still leak a drop, so I went another turn and leaking stopped. Thank you and God bless. The tool made it super easy to remove ferrule. It took me longer to build the confidence to do it than the actual work 😂.
Thanks. Great job.
I think its a great video but I was curious about why you didn't use Teflon tape or a liquid thread sealant on the threads? Do you think its not really needed maybe because of the compression ring?
They are a metal to metal seal. They don’t use sealant
Or just get your friend over and help.. that's if you have any
Are your friends Brian Shaw and Eddie Hall?
All of this was unnecessary, it only needed the valve stem/seals replaced. $4.
You could do that. The whole point of the video was to show how to replace a valve. Also when you redo a bathroom you don’t want to leave an old dirty corroded one. My next visit I can show how to replace the internals of the existing valve
What’s that little metal cleaning tool you used to clean the copper pipe after removing compression ring?
Maybe a “heavy duty fitting brush” ?
It’s a burr whip Here is the Amazon link a.co/d/01FoB9aT
Thank you so much!!!! I really appreciate this helpful information. I’m disabled mentally but was still able to repair my kitchen sink! ❤
No problem. Im glad I was able to help you out.
Great video bro
Appreciate it
Worked like a charm thanks man
Glad I could help
What was the size of expansion plug you used?
It was 1” to 1”1/8
What if the pipe into the wall is PVC, does the same method work? Does the pipe have to be cut or does the pulling system work? What about attaching the new valve, is it the same process on pvc or is glue needed?
No that’s going to be different. Is it pvc or pex?
The Electrician That did That Should Not Be Calling Him Self An Electrician .Glad You were The one To fix It Correctly . Service Electrician comes out pulls off the cover and the panel falls into or out of the wall , causing more damage that he would have been responsible for . someone is a professional and it was not the Electrician 8 - ) .
I know. We definitely know he’s not a framer
My shower was backing up and I didn't do anything about it until the water level was getting up to my ankles by the end of it. I went in there one day with a plunger, turned the shower on and started working the drain (this gross black stuff came back up). It took 30 seconds to maybe a minute which isn't long but is a lot of plunging before the water suddenly started drained away.
Well at least you got the water to go down. Was there hair in the drain?
That's the sort of work that makes you want to ask the inspector's supervisor to have a look at. Or, maybe not, it might put you in their shit list. Discouraging. Good fix you did.
Thanks. The company did find out about it and covered the cost to have me fix it. So at least they did the right thing for the customer. Hopefully their installer who did this work got a lesson in doing a good job from their boss. I don't wish for the installer to get fired but maybe your in the wrong line of work if you can't frame out an electrical panel.
Speechless! I’d love to see the look on the guys face who hacked this. And the inspector! Wow.
me too
Well done! Thank you!
No problem. I’m glad I was able to help out.
Brilliant!
Thanks. It’s a good way to save money if it’s only a little soft spot.
Thanks for the video and nice looking CR.
Thanks. It cleaned up nice. It sat in the shed for about 8 years. Just did a partial restoration and got it going again
Nice
Thanks
I own rentals. I get rid of those and replace with strainers whenever I replace faucets etc. In my experience, not many people, if any, even use stoppers in sinks. They just create support tickets.
I can see doing that with rentals.
How slick was that😮
Thanks
I'm looking forward to the next fix!😊
Thanks I have a lot more coming. This is motivation for me to start editing a video.

Great video & great job! I noticed it once you showed both sinks. Bummer that they paid others who didn’t see this. 😮
Thanks. I see a lot of these types of problems other people can’t fix.
Very clever. You can do a lot by yourself if you just give it some thought and take your time. Also, when you are done you don't have to share the beer with a helper. 😆
Very true! A helper would be nice sometimes.

Should be renamed "how to caulk a kitchen cabinet drawer."
Ok the drawer is part of the cabinet
Not really. It's like making a "how to wash your car" video and just cleaning the tire.
You did not show it for a smooth wall!
Smooth wall is the same. It’s easier because you don’t have to worry about making flat spots in the texture. Just fill the holes and sand lightly with sanding sponge or sand paper.
