@@MIKEYZVLOGZ yes did all those thing's. In settings menu my screen has the spanner and screwdriver I'm thinking it's a software issue with the HU. Everything else was installed correctly constant 12v power from fuse 71 in the yellow fuse box in the boot. It just won't trigger the camera 😔 tried pal tried NTSC tried aux camera settings on and off. Nothing triggers it. Last hope is a transmission reset but I'm doubtful. My model has the NTG 4.5HU.
@robertjohn2249 hmm that's strange indeed .. as the function that triggers is is basically the setting that says activate inreverse ..typical cameras use the trigger wire ..but our cars do not
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ yeah I honestly can't work it out I tried every setting. It just won't turn on. Apparently in the settings menu you need a analogue clock displayed on that screen or it won't support a rear view camera. Like a latest updated command software. I'm really thinking this is why it's not working. It's a 2007 C280 avantgarde. It's really annoyed me I spent 6 hour's carefully doing everything right, didn't break a thing then it doesn't work and I'm troubleshooting for 4 more hour's lol. My car's still in piece's.
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ I got the camera to turn on in video Aux mode but it's fuzzy and black and white. Still can't work it out

@LutfurRabbani there are so many different kinds u can use ..it's what works best in the end for u
Found one online and placed order. Thanks for the video, hope it’s okay to reach out to you if I need help with installation. Thanks again.
@@LutfurRabbani I will help as much as I can from where I am... all good happy to help subscribers mate
Simply put. You need to be in the right fakra cable based on your model and year Mercedes. I am in a 2012. 3 fakras exposed with a very specific female end to make it all happen. Also needs the male to hook to the video(yellow rga cable)
well done mate... so its all dependant on your model and type of fakra connectiom?
MIKEYZ VLOGZ yes. Just ensure you are in right connection port. And even then you need the right end. For me, I saw a lot of other year models and not one for 2012. Connections are different
@@damnbeast404 good tip matey again... leaving comments like this..is going to help someone else who may experience the exact same issue or even installing an oem style back up camera... priceless...awesome
Maybe for a future video u can switch your brakes for AMG ones :D that will look very nice!!
ye maybe...however these definitely do the job and I dont speed too much... or I could add caliper covers for a nicer look or paint
