    Wow! I got really impressed from your video. Actually it is a rare thing to find this kind of video in TH-cam, about vectorizing Ai graphics artworks. Actually I watched only 2 videos referring to two websites that they generate "very simple vectors" from text prompts. They are at their beginning of this and there is a great potential in the future... Anyway, I would suggest you to always Upscale your image to a higher and sharper resolution, and after convert it to vector.... Thank you for sharing this useful information, combining it with the latest Ai technology. Do you have any video demonstration on how and where which sites can we upload and sell our ai vector designs?

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey mate, thank you! I never considered upscaling first, that's a great idea to get better conversion! I haven't yet, but I am chipping away in the background on covering some of that, so in teh future I have one coming :)

    Hello wade. I vectorised some AI designs and put them on canva to add some text etc. when I download them from canva, the dpi is very low. Would I then have to up the dpi or leave as is because I’ve vectorised it.

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Unfortunately canva converts vectors to bitmaps when exporting a PDF. The best result I would say is to use a bigger document in canva (it will still be a bitmap) or possibly try another app or program to see if it keeps it as a vector

    Just found your channel as I was trying to get an image to make a url prompt for MJ. Yours was the ONLY video that did the steps to explain it correctly and it worked!! Just watched this one as I use vectorizer for MJ images- but the vector has these tiny white outline around each vector piece- (and no stroke). Have you or anyone seen this and suggest a remedy? I did not see these spider white lines around your vectors...

      I have the same thin white outlines and looking for a solution. I´m working with affinity designer and my solution is to choose all the same fill colors and fill out the strokes with the same fill color. Then I increase the contour lines to 2 px. Then I do this with the next color. That´s very time-consuming.

    I might be wrong, so you should probably read it yourself. But I was reading the vectorize user agreement. And according to their website, it says once you use her website and upload an image. Vectorize has the right to sell or use any material processed through their website For any purposes they want without your consent. I would love to use their service I would even pay it is stated in their user agreement that they would not steal my artwork. But this is not the case as far as I can tell.

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did read this on their home page:
      Do you make any claims on the input images or vectorized results?
      Our terms of service just grant us the rights we need to deliver the service to you, and to improve our products. We don't claim any rights to the vectorized results, and we won't share your images with third parties unless you explicitly authorize us to do so.

    Can i vectorize the original image of the person?

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can upload photos of people but the results won' be as good, photos convert poorly. I would recommend using the photo in Midjourney or something to create an AI version there first that is cartoony and 2d before trying this.

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  ปีที่แล้ว

      No vectorizer.ai is currently free, Illustrator was included simple for those who use it (which is most people doing vector art)

    I don’t quite understand why it’s so bad at converting gradients, when AI is capable of making amazing gradients.

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Vectorizer.ai doesnt have any real settings you can change, but asking midjourney for flat colors, vector art, simple etc helps get an image that produces better results. What version of illustrator are you using?

      @@WadeMcMaster Thanks. I love hand coding svg and squeeze every byte out of them. I think that is what tracers need to be judged on as well.
      It's no good to have a good image but ending up with a 3Mb file for what's essentially clip art. 100kb would be my aim for the rocket dog.

    • @WadeMcMaster
      @WadeMcMaster  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@critical_always I hear what you're saying for sure. In many instances it is useful - but if you're just looking for a vector thats good enough to print (for yourself on a shirt, flyer or sign etc, not for sale) then the size isn't as big of a factor.
      On the web though, 100%, those files would be far too big.
