At most they know Leonardo but not the name just that they'd recognize him from Titanic and I'm talking about the whole world not just the US. Tom is above that shitty corrupted award.
To think he is now approaching 60 and he has just created his BIGGEST movie of all time pretty much confirms he is the GOAT in hollywood. No other actor will come along to match his level of style and commitment to the screen.
