Tom really deserved this award. He was absolutely brilliant in Jerry Maguire...Tom's had many great roles in his storied career, but his performance in that movie still remains my favorite.

It is a mystery isn't it? It was Tom who left Nicole. She did not want the divorce, even with her issues with Scientology, it was not her. She was crushed and heartbroken about it for a long time. I imagine a part of her always will be. But she's very happy now. He made a big mistake!

I also believe she was pregnant again at the time of their divorce, but ultimately had another miscarriage (due to the strain?). With some, it takes some time to get it to work. Had a friend who had 4 miscarriages before they figured out what was wrong, then had 3 biological children. But the loss is huge, for sure. I bet Scientology played a big role? Nicole was Catholic. Regardless, she was crushed by the divorce & did not want it. Really sad to have seen her kids become estranged from her. Adopted or not, they are their kids, body & soul.
