I'm limited by how many WOW"s I can say without sounding trite, but this is super impressive. What an amazing rig this has turned out to be. Big Dog Builds and Off Road Creative have delivered what must be Australia's best off road and kitted out 4x4. Very keen to follow the travels.
it looks really nice, I do like the colour and the way you have matched certain parts with the same colour. I have a question about the tires on the back tho how do you get them on and off? cheers Robb
250,000 (?) you would want: Central locking, Auto windows, Cruise control, Air conditioning, Power seats, Reverse camera, Spare tyre, jack etc, Brand floor mats, Two keys..🤔😄
I do like this build. Although, I have one question, is there an auxiliary fuel tank where the spare tyre used to be? I am sure it would be able fit an extra 100-150 litres there.
Sick rig. I am surprised the usa 2500 range done come with a centre console fridge but the build is awesome and i would love to build one my self but wouldn't use it as work commitments but looking at 2500 range soon.
Wow, such a sensational build Dean and the team! Honestly such an awesome rig! I do love how Dean doesn't need anything to use the Multi-function Oven but Miriam is on a step! Suspect mine will be a little easier with a 2 inch lift and me being 6 foot 3! Would be great to get some weights data on this one as well. I know I am a little nervous even with the 5.5t GVM about the weight of the boat and motor. Knowing that ADU know there stuff makes me a little more confident that it is all going to be within weight limits but.
Will you guys ve doing these builds on Tundras if/when they come to Aus? Looking to get in the market but stuck between Tundra or 1500. Might be worth waiting till the Aus market catches up.
Awesome stuff. I have been thinking about putting machined wheels on my slate grey zr2 and this has made my mind up. The black wheels look good but they are played out. Good choice.
Where does this bulls$%t end? Are we going to start installing graders on the front ends so we can widen trails to accommodate our 100 inch LCDs and king size beds?
All the gear no idea 😂 dont see the point spending quarter/third million dollars on a towing car. Good on you for doing exactly what your plate says. Liv Big.
Well just let your followers how much all this cost mate no need to to hide it … it’s just over the top I bet no one who is watching can afford it I don’t think you guys can see how much you are out of touch with your followers !!
Yes I don’t like all these videos where they don’t talk $. I will do a walk around video of my rig and I’ll be honest with cost and how long it took me to afford everything and it’s no way near this one 😂
There is some good logic here, we’re both midgets so let’s put a 6 inch lift that serves no useful purpose in our already large truck so we both can’t even reach what is at the top of the fridge.
The only unfortunate thing for these guys is this house on wheels will never gain in Value. In 10 years it’ll go from a $450k investment to probably $70k But it’s not my money, 💰 they obviously have the financials to pay for it. And it’s there design/style that they paid for. If it was easy we would all have one so good luck with the big rig I do however pray for the transmission. Hopefully it doesn’t go bang like most of the Chev’s
@@AussieDestinationsUnknown I’ve noticed in the comments that the internet has a way of bringing out some weird units aye. They see a bloke happy and killing it in life and it makes them feel inadequate. All I was asking is a brake down on the cost when you did a walk around it would be easy to just give us a costing at the end or as you are explaining what you have done not to much to ask surly 😊
Can't believe everything watched was unobtainium, one-off except for supplier furnished bolt-on gear. Its not even usable without stilts or ladder step stool. Come on Mate, tell us your design brief requirements based on road warrior failures. Its not even a good tow pig bouncing on bags now
"Unobtainium is a term used to refer to a material that cannot be accessed. Such a material might be rare, prohibitively expensive, controlled or simply nonexistent. A common observation about unobtainium is that it meets all requirements perfectly, other than not actually existing." Yet we build 5 per week like this.... alot of people touring Australia, doing the trip of a life time with thier families.
@@bigdogbuilds no doubt. AUS supply chain validates that 5/wk claim. Actually envious Australians have such a strong Outdoor Adventure brand going. BUT as an American, Chevrolet officanado, ex 5th wheel tower and Mohave desert rat - that ¾ ton isn’t the tow pig he thinks. It’ll grind through brakes, bearings and pads so quickly. Not to mention the airbag assist that only hardens the caravanning. She’s a sweetheart in front of a camera but so much of that isn’t able to transfer when she can’t use it without a step up onto something. Nothing wrong with any of the kit - going American 6”+ lifts just means Australians have to rejig their canopy engineering to accommodate human-sized usage ala fridge dropdown glides.
It makes me so Happy as an American that you guys enjoy our “Yank Tanks” as much as we do.
Nice one!
The American trucks are getting more and more popular in Australia ❤️👍

Congratulations to the lucky owners and to all involved in this incredible build.

Hey guys , has the canopy got central locking?

Center console fridge is a dealer installed option (at least for the Fords, not sure about GM).
@@rich7447 not sure we het that option here in aus

Great vid and fantastic looking truck. Keen to hear a bit more about how you get 100amp to charge van batteries!!
Coming soon!
Those headlights are they even at legal height ?
Yep they sure are
Why no bags in the rear? To lower it down for better use
There are airbags in the rear.
Do you provide a step ladder in the price?
Yes.
It's 3am but the truck is sick
so sick.
Oh boy been waiting on this one!!! 🍻 🎉
