This is China that not many people get to see or even know about. China should make you a tourist ambassador for all the good work you are doing to promote the country. Keep up the good work. From Western Australia.
Thank you Yan for showing us the real China. I’m always touched by the spirit of this land and its people. Your new episodes are the highlight of my Saturday morning here in Australia. You’re a lonesome traveler, but we’re with you here ❤
Thank you so much 🥰
You very welcome !
Yan is literally the bravest person I know 😄 I think the barber was nervous, but in the end he did a good job. You were right to haggle with him, since his price is on the sign 😂😂❤ It almost moved me to tears seeing the pride of the woman who makes those beautiful shoes. Life is about things like that, making something with one’s hands, and being proud of it. ❤
That kind of embrodery was all over China in the past with diffrent style in diffrent zones. But now it is almost gone away and replaced by morden products.
@@pbrlpgu5601 Unfortunately the chinese people when they know how to appreciate their handmade products and they will be able to see values and this will extinct in a few years where no one know how to make it...Somebody need to suggest to those Han chinese who are wearing traditional Hanfu costume that this shoes will match their costume...
确实比99%国女勇敢,
He explained the price was for pensioners. In the west, pensioners can get discount.
very sincere comment!
Travel is not travel without silly adventures on the road. 😅 I really like your interactions with the locals in all of your videos. ❤
It is the real travel to know the local culture and customs along with the beautiful scenery
Yan, this one was so much fun! Loved your bargaining with the mobile barber, the whole interaction between you, him and his buddies, and he did a good job to boot (was a little concerned at first 😄).
The sweet potato noodles, the street “medical” treatment of your back, the woman with her beautiful shoes, people gathered in the park playing cards…
Chinese people really seem so industrious, hard-working, and super friendly.
And thank you for treating us to yet another magical place - that lake!
I'm concerned about the "needling". Hope they use new sterile needles for each client. Otherwise, it doesn't bear thinking!
Love the authenticity of your video. You were very compassionate trying to help the local people on your travel by buying stuff/Service from thêm. I am almost in tears to see how hard working of the barber, the lady who sells shoes, and the other families who sell tangerines, sweet potatoes, etc...Thank you 🥰
Yan looked more nervous getting that haircut than climbing scaffolding on the side of a mountain 😂
I only feel happiness when I watch your video. I must have lived in rural China in my past live :)
🤔1) Where r all the leaves on the mango trees?😄 2) Those young old ladies playing cards & sitting on stools....no back aches when getting up! Impressive!🤣 BTW nice hair cut...looks younger now🤩!!! Tks for bringing me along on Unseen China!🙏
Those trees are kapok trees. Those trees lose all their leaves in winter.
Your haircut is perfect, I love it. Once again your drone footage is absolutely breathtaking! Quite often I find myself saying "That's it! Lets sell everything we own and go!"
She's amazing, she can even ride a motorcycle by herself. Thank you for showcasing the interesting and joyful lifestyles as well as the beautiful landscapes from various parts of China.
Awesome, thank you for taking me there. Just outstanding photography every week gets better and better.
Don't forget the lovely music.
So many hardworking people but they all have time to give a friendly smile, especially the elderly. Thanks as ever and safe travels, Yan.
These are the unseen sides of China- open air barber shop, medicine shop and of course, Baise is the renowned home of mangoes. This is the daily life of the rural China..
I was in Panyu (near Guangzhou) one time and needed a haircut, since I was at the local street market and there was a barber there, I got a haircut also. When I got back to the house my (Chinese) wife tells me it is funny to see a chinese haircut on a guaylo. She got a good laugh out of it.
I love how you interact with the locals, and admire your courage in traveling on your motorcycle by yourself. Be thankful that you live in China, most places that would not be possible. Thank you for your uplifting videos.
OMG...Yan, your hair already short and that's keep remind me of a cartoon character "Dora The Explorer" 😁 😁The lake views is really amazing 👍
Lol omg, she does
Little Chinese, You are a Brave girl. Liked & appreciated your vlog with music. Keep it up. Have a long life with sound health. Keep smiling.
An aged well-wisher
Hi Yan…it’s me from Europe again. Always looking forward to your posts. Today’s video is so interesting and it also reminds me a bit of small town life when I was growing up. Thanks. The barber did a nice job.
Thank you for letting us travel with you and seeing all these beautiful people on your way.
Nothing venture, nothing gain. Thanks for sharing your exploration to the unseen nooks & crannies of China and mingling around with the local residents to give a humane touch to your video documentaries. Keep it up & 加油 ❤!
You are the master of authentic travel. You have a great combination of respect, humor, and relentless curiosity!
The gentleman sitting next to him was quite amused by the moment 😊
Yan, So Brave!!! LOL. my Fujian Wife said to me when she cuts my hair, "LOOK AT Yan, she does not complain as much as you do.". yan, ,it made us both giggle. Thank you dear for this. Be well to hubby too and your ventures.
my husband and I always watching your vlog 😍Thank you so much for taking us to china 😍watching from NewYork. keep safe always
Wow China just leaves me speechless. Just gorgeous. Your drone shots are fantastic!! Love the village people. Thank you for your videos. You make my day. Sending love from Australia!💚

Hai 🙋🇮🇩... Yan ...sometime you make me astonished when I see your vlog ...lady traveler & brave 👏👍😆🙋
I always seeing your volg ...amazing 👏⚘️
Fighting 💪💪💪💪💪
Ah, getting a haircut. You did well to find someone who did a very good job. Very tidy and pretty! It reminded me of when I went to a barber in Turkey. I thought it would be 20 minutes, maximum. I was there for 2 hours. It included my nose and ear hair as well as body hair being trimmed!! Not forgetting an upper body massage! Price started at £5 and ended up being £20. My friends got tired of waiting. To me, it only seemed a short time!! I never allowed myself to be tricked like that again!! Thank you for reminding me of that experience, I smile about it now. So much wonderful choice of food and fruit with such a cheap price. And they obviously still make a decent living. Those shoes were so beautiful. 1 month to make them, such an incredible skill. Sad to hear that there is no one else learning how to take on the craft. The lake was certainly worth the visit. Your drone video was perfect, as always and a joy to experience. Thank you again for another wonderful bike adventure Yan!!
I can understand why it was important for you to pass your motor cycle test. Having your own motorcycle has make your traveling so much easier, in terms of making choices about where you can go, and planning future journies. I find the way you capture the street life and communicate with the local people makes your style of video journalism quite unique, and of course very interesting. Another enjoyable chapter, thank you.

I look forward to Saturdays to watch your videos!
I love that not only do you show the landscape, you show the people that live there and what local life is like.
The people were so lovely and the lake was scenic, another lovely video!
Seeing how sweet potato noodles are made is a rare sight. Lingyun is a lovely city with lots of people seeking fruits. It's interesting to haggle for the price of a haircut on the street and be successful in bargaining. I'm so happy for you! Cupping to cure muscles aches and pains is amazing but seems awfully painful. I like the pedlar selling unusual and vintage shoes in your video, which I believe is truly authentic! Another very nice scenic tour which I enjoyed thoroughly. Thank you so much ❤
各地有不同的做法,这个是先做成片然后切丝。我们那边是直接漏成圆面条。
Cupping is not pain
Thanks for another great journey through that part of the world. Life is about experiences.😀
this area has some of the most beautiful natural scenery on this planet and so few people know about it.
Seeing the lake with drone & music was magical for me. I like this cupping stuff though maybe not the needle part. Thank you for taking us along on these adventures. Even getting a haircut prompted discussion & some moments of hilarity.
Beautiful as always... when that lovely chap was cutting your hair, I couldn't watch! you were wonderfully trusting... And again, thank you for sharing your intrepid travels!
The drone footage was magnificent! 🔥
Wow, that was brave! Having $1 haircut by a stranger under a tree. 😮 Also, thanks for reminding me that I need a new pair of slippers 😄 Another great video 🔥
It's really not bad assuming they know what they're doing. Majority of haircuts are simple trims unless you're going for some fashion style.
I love these videos. The people, the landscape, the markets, all so fascinating.
The people here seem to be so happy despite living in a rural town. I enjoy seeing the real China to see how actually these folks live a simple life as compared to the big cities. They are really contented with simple pleasures. This is what we really want to see and not those fanciful cafes and touristy places.
When I visit a new country, I don’t really want to see something I can see everywhere (shopping malls, skyscrapers, urban buildings, etc) but I really want to see the old preserved buildings (like temples, churches, ancient ruins, etc). They are what is special about a certain country, I prefer the ancient architecture over modern architecture.
Lots of love ❤️ for Great China 🇨🇳 from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Powdered iguana and eye of newt together with cupping!!! I want that old guy to cut my hair too. Little Chinese Everywhere is the best video series from China on TH-cam with her amazing drone shots. Q - Does China have sweet corn?
各种玉米都有
It is so nice to go back to the real China. I taught English there for 4 years in different cities and really miss going to the little villages and the markets. Just loved this video. Thank you.
I have come here from Shlatt 👍
I feel sleep deprived watching this😊
liked by her lmaoooo😭

You fly drone so beautifully 😘👏👏👍Bravo 🤗
Such a delight Yan, especially negotiating the haircut price! Very enjoyable energy, I must say, it would be quite a surprise to many, around the world. Beautiful just.......
I don't like the fact she negotiated the haircut price. The guy is disabled, making a living on the street. Yan gets paid a lot for her videos. She bargained the price down by 2 RMB. That's 30 cents. 30 cents is nothing to Yan, but it's something to a disabled person. Not cool for Yan to do that.
The reason why the barber is asking a higher price is, I guess, because he is worried that he cannot handle women's hair, or because he thinks that cutting women's hair may be more tedious and require more work.
The Chinese government will provide welfare for people with disabilities, depending on their situation, but it will definitely ensure that they have basic living conditions, such as housing and sufficient food. So, I think it's normal for video anchors to engage in bargaining. Perhaps she just feels unreasonable about being treated differently, not because the price is too expensive.
A reasonable guess is that hairdressers may never have had the experience of cutting women's hair. So he feels at a loss.
@@mechannel7046 讨价还价才是对他的尊重,对他的怜悯才是不尊重。
@@mechannel7046 she does not cut too much of hair, it is quite an easy job for the barber, 8 Yuan is a good price for him.
Street barber used to be a common sight in Shanghai, I attended the old master working on my street until he retired about 20212! Yes! Thanks for the memories. Edit: Why such sweet memories? the old master cut my hair as a child, then, after going out for university, I returned to my old home and he resumed this service until retirement. So such community barbers are not only hair cutters, but community gossips and advisors, see all and know all in their neighborhood, maters of the universe.
yan 感恩你让我看到很多我从未见过的美好,路上千万注意安全 祝你一切顺利❤
Beautiful place and people! 🌞😍🇨🇳❤🕊💐
Hi Yan, the haggling with the barber was funny. Loving your motorcycle adventure, been a dream of mine to do something like that.
I'm a big fan of wet cupping, and it's called hijama here. It promotes blood circulation and is really good for general wellbeing. I remember having cupping done on my head for the first time a few years ago and almost had the same reaction as yours 😂.
I would really love to visit and explore a lovely remote city surrounded by stunning mountains in Guangxi like this one someday, God willing. Gorgeous landscape, charming town, interesting people to interact with. Guangxi is probably my favorite province so far.
came across ur channel a day ago.. and i cant stop watching .. thanks for sharing great videos keep up the good work and stay safe.. btw thats is surely not mango
Your vlog always very interesting, Iove to see its 😍 ... Keep up your good works 👍🏼👍🏼 Take care and safe trips
18:36 those handmade shoes are amazing!
Now that mango tree is amazing. Where are all the leaves? :D Wow - sidewalk cupping is so cool
冬天了呀
😃😃😃@@partyhu
Yan, 你太辛苦了。回家好好過春節吧!
I started watching your videos wow beautiful places thank you
Glad to see that peripatetic barbers have not died out in China. They and peripatetic bread, noodle, dimsum, sellers and knife sharpeners used to be common in South East Asia as well. But in most countries, they have gone.
You have a knack for connecting with people. I really enjoy it when you talk with locals. Keep on your epic videos & stay safe.
I like the friendly bargaining before the haircut.
Such beautiful places in China thank you Yan 🙏
Just brilliant to share your journey, your videos take us to Wonderful places, fantastic experience & meet many friendly people, very enjoyable, Thanks
This is a fun video to watch. We really enjoy how you interact with everyone. You are so gracious to purchase their products to show respect for their lively hood in exchange for recording them, and how you find something special in even the little things you discover. Your videos are great for the hearts in all of us. : )
artisan hand-crafted sweet yam noodle!!!! i love them!!!!
Beautiful place. Awesome view. Thank you, little Chinese everywhere for showing the unseen parts of china.
i think the tree is not mango tree.. i think that's "Ceiba petandra" which is silk cotton tree, or kapuk/kapok tree.. or, might be something different.. based on the trunk looks, definitely not mango tree... wow the bike looking good!! 😀
The trunk is really not a mango, kapok or bauhinia.
Another great video. Using a scooter to travel through mountains and small towns and cities really makes your videos that much more interesting. Great work!
I love it!The bit players in your theatre are equally amusing!Marvellous!
Your vids always make me so happy, always excited to see a new one. Your haircut came out great! ♥
Beautiful sceneries and interactions with local and food ..amazing content again 😊 take care be safe on the road
I think you are doing a wonderful service to your country
Side walk Barber shop.... Bargaining everywhere 😂😂😂❤
很地道的旅遊記錄,我們一般都不容易到。你帶我們看了很多真實的中國生活,謝謝你。
中国太大,我一个广西人都还走不完广西的县
Yan you are just amazing ! The simplest articulation of yours makes videos more watchable !
Amazing that even in these remote places of China, everyone pays with the phone, and hotel rooms look super comfy and clean.
lol that haggling with the barber was so funny. What a great place.

Always delightful sharing your adventures. Thank you very much.
Your hair looks lovely, I'm so tempted to do this too when I travel to China this autumn hehehe. Thanks for always inspiring my future plans, Yan, have the best day! 💕
21:11 Zhang Xinyu! My favorite!
Takes me to my childhood when village barbers used to visit houses do haircut for children and the elderly.
Greetings from Peshawar Pakistan.

She said yes in the video. Cupping is super helpful for taking away pains
Thanks Yan, off the beaten track and great rustic place shown.....indeed a wonderful experience!! ❤❤❤
Awesome once again granddaughter. Your hair looks cute. The sweet potato noodle looks delish. Please do be careful when you put your password in on your phone . May need to change it unless what I saw as you paid was something different. Unfortunately it is the world we live in today. Take care and keep us all posted. Marmie
that password only to stop someone steal your phone to buy things. give that password to u,if you dont have her phone, useless
