@@luisGarcia-hq8mp that's not really how stats work, can't just double add them together. By that logic if you could somehow hit 4 times you'd have a 120% chance of flinching. It's 2 different 30% chances so the odds are a bit lower, two chances at 30% is (1-0.7^2) = %51
With Parental Bond, Iron Head has a 51% chance to flinch, which makes the chance of flinching 4 times in a row a little under 7%, which is still low, but not as insane as it seemed.
Where do we get 51% from? Iron head is a 30% chance to flinch and parental bond lowers the total damage but not the rate of effect so it’s a 60% chance

For the iron head flinches, due to parental bond, the chance of a flinch is 51%. Iron head has a 30% chance to flinch, with that being applied twice, it leaves a 49% to move. The chance of 5 in a row is…about 1/32 ish.
@@bigloglog No, that’s not how chances work. You multiply the chances instead of adding them. In this case, the opponent has a 70% chance to move per hit. So, you times 70% (or 0.7) by 70% to make 49% to move, so a 51% chance to be flinched.
My grandma who doesn’t speak any English found your guy’s laugh very amusing, as I was playing it on my car radio while driving her around and she started giggling

@@lukesullivan885 no, that's not how it works. Possibilities can't just be doubled like that. Well, if you have a coin, flip it and say if it's fair, then it has a 50% chance being heads. But flip it 2 times doesn't making it 50%×2=100% chance to be heads, it's a (100%-50%^2)=75% chance. That's how possibility works. And for your example, if the flinch chance is 20%, then parental bond boost it to 36%, not 40%.
As someone who has practically grown up watching both you and Shady it literally makes me so happy when you both collab for videos~ Thank you for this video it really brightened my day and keep up the great work both of you! 💜💜💜💜💜💜
Iron Head has a 30% of flinching. With Parental Bond each hit gives you that chance. The chance that one of them flinch is 51%. So the chance of getting 5 consecutive flinches would be about 3.45%.
Idk if parental bond is correctly coded, but since you have a flinch chance with both of your hits (as it should be), chances of you flinching with iron head (each hit has a 30% chance to flinch) are 51%. The only way to not get flinched is to not flinch by either move which is 0.7*0.7 = 0.49. That means you have a 49% chance to move or a 51% chance to flinch.
That's not entirely true. Parental Bond increases the likelihood of flinching as you said but it's not equal to a 60 % flinch like with Serene Grace because you actually multiply your opponent's odds of not flinching (0.7 * 0.7 = 0.49) to arrive at the probability of a Parental Bond flinch which is only 51 %.
If you ever do this type of video again, you should make it to where, if you pick the lie, you get to keep the ability you lied about. For example, if you had picked Hisuian Goodra, it would have kept the Huge Power
If parental bond actually does proc the flinch chance on both hits, then iron head had a 51% chance to flinch every time. Still crazy to hit 5 in a row
There should a little caveat for these. If someone somehow gets one of the legend horses and calyrex, you should be able to toss that fella on the horse and bring 5 pokemon instead of 6 with them separate
The new taco bell cheezit crunchwrap is out. My assessment is that it's surprisingly very good. A strange concept that pairs well, the large cheezit is less crunchy than you get in a "crunch" wrap normally, but it's a nice flaky texture and it actually adds onto the flavor of the overall dish. 9/10, another slam dunk W for taco bell.
