If you're doing something that you have an actual interest and passion in, something that you enjoy so much; that is going to come out infinitely better than something that you're just trying to create for the sake of creating it, and not having any desire or passion or love to fuel it. It also helps being a perfectionist as well haha 😅

She is so authentic and seriously does everything for herself first. Which I wouldn't have it any other way because if it's good enough for the Queen it is most certainly gonna be amazing. All of her albums are complete and total fire.

I am ABSOLUTELY in LOVE with this woman!!! Yeah the media was really cold back then and took issue with artists who included fantasies & idealism in songwriting instead of 100% raw lived experiences. It was beginning of social media turning “fake” and sneaking in advertisements, so everyone was challenging what was real or not. And whether illusions should be valued.
Now everyone knows what is real/not real and forced to say if it’s incentivized, but it wasn’t like that back then and so artists were under suspicion.
So happy she stayed true to what she loved and liked moment by moment 💛
