I didn’t think the story was going to end up as a ghost story!
Omg, he needs to report the murder case to the authorities. Now that he knows better!. Even if the dude is dead. The dead needs justice too! Shame on him! If it was your daughter, mother or sister you would want to find out what happened to your child too! This is injustice.

If the chicken owner and those who prepare the spiritual water don't drink it too, then they should be charge for poisoning the whole family. I understand the majority of the people are very bad, but to bring justice it really needs to be fair.
As for the borrowing of money and items, I feel that whoever you borrow money too, you need to go after that person or the people that received the money, not just any family member who don't even receive the money or benefits from it.
As for the part where the farmer's wife lock in a room in the house, and the spirit keep asking for help. I think if such things really exist. The two person who happen to stumble into this farmer should report the case to the authorities to bring closer to the case. If the spirit truly come for help, make the connection and free the soul.

This would be a great movie for Hollywood. Titled, "Immigrant in for a Surprise." Can't blame the Hmong folks for not reporting because they won't even be able to protect themselves. He is trying to redeem his soul for the bad things he does in life, by helping others. So everything that happen there is some good that comes out of it.
@@ntxhuavlis6757 sorry, i don't see it that way. How can he let anyone live in that house, knowing there is a dead body in the next room. He himself won't even go into that room. After they found out, he wouldn't let them move away, he was trying to keep them closer to keep an eye on them, to make sure they kept his secret. Plus, he had alot of houses, but he chose to put them in that haunted old house. That's just messed up. And how is being haunted by a ghost a good thing? I'd be mad.
There is evil in the world, and unfortunately, I don't think this is the only unsolved murder case. All those missing people that go innoticed...

I understand everyone's concern about reporting it, but that's assuming she still has family or anyone even looked for her early on, or if she was even reported missing. If someone was looking for her, the cops would have easily found her...it's only obvious if they searched his house especially since he and his gf at the time lived there with her corpse. Based on the events in the story, sounds like no one from her side ever bothered to look for her if she had anyone at all. She disappeared for over 20 years, corpse locked up in plain site; no attempt to even discard the corpse...she probably had no one else but her husband. So even if it was reported now, PD wouldn't waste their time; 1) it's hearsay only cuz it's on a TH-cam story channel, 2) it's too long ago, if she was never reported missing then she probably didn't exist, 3) the evidence was already tampered when they collected her corpse and buried it, 4) the house already burned and gone, and 5) the husband is already dead and his second wife is probably dead by now too cuz the father in the story is already a grandfather of 16 grandkids. When all of this happened, his son was still only in highschool. So everything is moot now.

I understand why he did what he did. But now that he and his son knows and understand the laws and policies, he needs to report this to the police to give justice to the wife that died. How horrific that she died in vain, and with such cruelty, and never got justice for the crime committed against her. It is not too late to give her justice.

Not sure if it’s the stories she was telling or her tone of voice. There’s no excitement anymore, she use to cry tears of sadness or laugh where it was funny pulling her audience into the story. But it’s coming back.

Not sure if this story is true or not! But I looked thru all the Iowa unsolved cases and missing person files from the 60's to the 80's and found no murder case/missing person related to this story!

Eventhough she was never reported...someone must have known she was missing, like a friend, neighbor, or coworker? And according to the story I didn't think they were ever divorced! The year was 1980 when the father and son moved in. By then, the sponsor already had adult children living on their own and grandchildren. The murder would of taken place in 1945-1950.
