My OC who is named after this account, made a battleship called: "The Raider" to rival The Halberd. It's controls are the Sonic CD Quartz Quadrant boss but the thing is raised up, so it covers him. And sometimes King Dee impersonates Dark Meta Knight, and goes under his alias, Fake Knight.
I don't know quite what it is but the Epic Yarn version adds so much to this. From the piano leading into the intro, to doubling the tune at 0:16 AND preserving the downward progression from the original right after--and it keeps its energy when the music picks up the pace halfway through. It's like the piece was made with this kind of compilation in mind.
