This was really good verbiage and bridging the gap between "spiritual" vs "psychological " amd realizing that every emotional psychological issue is a spiritual growth spurt pushing you through some new surfaces. This helped me, it's certainly up and down feeling amazing then completely confused again!!

Also the “present moment” is an illusion. We are never not present. You can’t get out of the moment. You can’t get into something you’ve never left from. Who’s the one to say you weren’t present? It’s just different fluctuations of frequencies, vibrations and flows of energy. We always are and that’s the freedom..
True liberation is the liberation from the Need to be liberated.

Presence is silence. Silent sound. When we listen, we realise the silent sound. The one song, dance play. Harmonics. The human experience is almost like an orchestra that can’t hear themselves. When we learn to listen we will hear the silence and from the silence we realise presence.

That part where you go in and out is exactly what I couldn’t put into words. Under a mask, under trauma responses, under the assumption of who I am when work is being done, feelings being processed, and inner work is being made organically I met being present. It was has and is a great feeling, but days i fall back and days i fall forward. Almost like even in a state of much progression within its all still a balancing act that is so simple yet so complicated. You’ve always been here then one random day you arrive exactly where you are and that in itself a journey of its own making.

Also realize eye contact is an engagement, for its a gateway to the soul.
The misconception is if you can't look in someone's eyes , you dont have enough power to do so.
When in actuality , not looking in certain eyes gives you the same power as looking into the eyes.
Dont make engagement when it is not needed. Energy's transfers through eye sight also

This explains the fact I was afraid to be happy and in my joy. My presence triggered others at a young age and I dealt with a lot of projection. Seemed to come from everywhere. The child took it personally and created meaning from it. Also sat in on three mushroom ceremonies in the past year. Small sacred ceremonies with trauma informed practitioners where this pattern from childhood would repeat where I would zig-zag from feeling joy, happiness, fun, play to pain, despair, sadness, grief. Sitting with the awareness during these gatherings was quite challenging. I also spent a lot of my life feeling insecure all stemming from childhood.

This felt medicinal. I have noticed how certain kinds of people want to pull you out of the present moment, for example, when they ask you a question, and you are pondering it, and they quickly pressure you to rush out an answer. It can be a fairly benign behavior from people that are just conditioned to lack patience, or a more clever abusive behavior intended to give you no time to think about / feel out what your truth is. You can't make a decision or answer a question with authenticity if you are pressured out of your presence. You're more likely to just blurt out what you think they want to hear.

Firstly, the incessant rambling about "presence" is just a dressed-up way of saying, "Hey, look at me, I'm so enlightened!" But guess what? True presence doesn't need a 20-minute soliloquy to explain itself. It's not about how many times you can mention the word "presence" but about actually being engaged with reality.
The speaker claims that eye contact is some mystical barrier that separates the present from the ego-driven. Newsflash: it's basic social interaction, not a portal to another dimension. And using psychedelic experiences as a benchmark for enlightenment? Please. It's like saying drowning in a pool makes you an expert swimmer.
Moreover, the incessant need to reassure oneself and others that they're "present" is ironically the epitome of being caught in one's ego. Real presence isn't about self-congratulation or feeling superior to others; it's about genuine connection and empathy, qualities sorely lacking in this self-absorbed monologue.
The attempt to weave childhood trauma into a narrative about enlightenment is not only shallow but insulting to those who have genuinely struggled. Trauma isn't a shortcut to spiritual awakening; it's a wound that requires healing, not grandiose claims of transcendence.
And let's not forget the contradictory statements: "You're never going to be enlightened... oh wait, maybe you will, but only sometimes, like a flickering light bulb." This isn't wisdom; it's confusion masquerading as profundity.
In conclusion, this verbose diatribe might impress the easily impressed, but beneath the layers of pseudo-intellectualism lies a vacuous void of actual insight. If you truly want to understand presence, try actually listening to others instead of listening to the sound of your own voice.

When you imagine something, or remember, strong feeling or event, you will not be looking at the person across from you, your gaze will be usually lowered down, if it goes up, you are imagining ie. constructing what you will say, kind of a way to tell if someone is lying, but they can turn their gaze up if they are trying to come up with words sometimes. I think this is the reason people don't look you in the eye when they have serious internal drama.

One has to be careful as when those inferior people see and feel your light it doesn't resonate with them and exposes there deceit, thus they cast their problems upon the righteous among us. • @Janellerose444
      @Janellerose444  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@irascib1e Well all ADHD is, is usually an inability to focus typically dating back to trauma. It’s the light is on but no one is there. I’m in a room but I’m not present because it’s too painful to be with myself. Usually a coping mechanism believe it or not. I try to steer clear from labels because it keeps one trapped in that paradigm and feeling more helpless when you are not. I was a meth user at 16 and I remember the same feeling. After all, if you are talking about adderal it’s only one hydrogen molecule less than meth. It forces your brain to ultra focus and can seem like you are present. It increases the dopamine in your brain and makes your prefrontal cortex work better, at least in the beginning.

At some point trying to explain and describe it, or make some ideas about how it works is just confusing. The mind loves to play around with concepts, but what you are trying to describe is too subtle for the medium of language. I guess one of the benefits of presence is that your linguistic expressions become more like poetry, artistically guiding the listener to there own insight rather than believing you can accurately describe something true to them

Doesn't hurt that you're absolutely stunning, either. You radiate strongly ❤

*Hugs* Rare relatable human being, they aren't just some thoughts. If science were honest, it'd have gone mad pursuing truth instead of settling, but here you are putting it into the simple and vital truth. If you know, you know. Love you with all my heart.

@@paulrowe-c3c I’m in the same boat. But what I do that helps is I drop seeds of knowledge with no expectation. I love them in ways they don’t know they need. I find people elsewhere that can entertain these topics, even over the interwebs. There are so many who feel this way. Bless you Xx

Thank you for taking the time to reply what a kind soul you are 🙏
There are two people you have to look up Janell🙏
      Ajahn brahm
      Adyshanti
They are both on youtube but particularly Adyshanti will feed you massively so do give them a listen and let me know your thoughts if you wish to communicate further 👌

Thanks for popping up in my feed.
    Here’s the biggest paradox.
Small channels are bigger than big channels.
    Direct, no fluff and legit.
    Another paradox,
I hope you get big, but at the same time stay small. Quality content.

Wowww, the way you explained this helped me feel so much empathy, that really resonated. Also, I’m sorry you had a bad mushroom experience. I’ve had a few experiences, all were very beautiful, luckily.

Beautiful x. Wise words Janelle, life is its own purpose, it simply is. The identification with the human ego and all that ensues from that is the human condition, it's simplicity itself - absolutely astonishing! Thanks for sharing x

Superb and beautifully described without any of the interference patterns of societies ideologies that attempt to explain this remarkable phenomena. But it's not really a phenomena - it is the sandbox we are in that truly stands out. Realizing it is just the normal state. I love watching the transition from here to there as Janelle recalled the past, pulling up the memory engram and temporarily entering that timeline. The entirety of our past is before us like a Rolodex letting us zoom into that moment and see all the interconnected threads of dependencies. This has to be the best, plainly spoken, account of this awareness state I have seen.

Lovely authentic sharing, recounting your own struggles. We humans seem to be very much still evolving. Poor ego, creates a lot of problems and gets a bad rap. I wonder if it’s just innocently trying to do its best caught up in survivalist mode, until Presence shows up and says, “Don’t worry, you can relax, I got this!”

I think they don’t freak me out because I naturally am in the moment. It’s all these other people that want me to worry about the future and the past so much…and they don’t seem very happy. Living alone has changed things for me.

I’ve also experienced another theme around this, where lack of eye contact was simply following a directive of presence, rather than following a script that I “should” make eye contact simply to satisfy a norm or expectation.

Psychedelics are great for revealing the door to awareness that you never even knew existed. They force one into a state of equanimity = not wishing unpleasant situations to end, not wishing pleasant situations to continue. Pure equanimity is enlightenment. When you're in such a state you see reality for what it is, perfection, this absolute shift in your perception especially if your baseline is depression or constant anxiety is what causes fear.
After mediating 1 - 2 hours a day for a year every time I do mushrooms now I achieve an enlightened state that can then just be enjoyed. You look at something and become that thing.
For anyone reading, if you still haven't witnessed the door of awareness give mushrooms a try. Start with 1g, then a month or so later try 3 - 3.5. You will then know what it means to be somebody who develops awareness through integration and the need to spend time just observing.
