    Great video!! Thanks any jnfo on the snack bar and what they serve? Is it 24 hrs?

      I believe it’s 24 hrs but what they served varied depending on what they had available. We don’t eat pork either so watch out for tiny pieces of pork in different dishes for flavouring. We found pork/bacon in some rice and bean dishes at the buffet. If in doubt try to asking one of the workers. When we went to an a la carte restaurant we always told the server what our restrictions were. They were very good at letting us know what our options were.

      Hi Leon. There are high chairs in the buffet restaurant as well as in the a la cartes. Let me know if you have any more questions. 🙂

    Hello 👋 thank you for sharing
    Question 🙋‍♀️
    How much cost the other restaurants ?

    • @clarapike7687
      @clarapike7687  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching and commenting! When we were there Toros, Tapas and Vinos was not open so I don’t know how much it costs to dine there. The other restaurants are included at no additional cost.

    How many a la carte are you allowed per week? thanks

    • @clarapike7687
      @clarapike7687  ปีที่แล้ว

      It may depend on who you fly/book with. We went with Sunwing and we were allowed 4 per week. The 4th booking may have been a perk exclusive to Sunwing customers. I think normally it’s 3 per week.

    Hello. My trip is getting closer. I have a question. Is there anywhere close to buy cigars etc ?

    • @clarapike7687
      @clarapike7687  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Terry, the only place I know of is at the duty free shop at the airport upon departure. There is the Plaza Faro Paredón that’s down at the lighthouse. I don’t know what shops they have there. Perhaps a staff member could have some suggestions.

      @@clarapike7687 ok thank you. Was there also a shortage of condiments etc. butter, ketchup, mustard, mayo etc ?

    • @clarapike7687
      @clarapike7687  ปีที่แล้ว

      we don’t use a lot of condiments so I’m not really sure. There was always butter for toast at breakfast which was the only time I would have looked for it. Cuba does allow you to bring food into the country so could always bring some condiments with you. We brought a bottle of hot sauce and some peanut butter but never needed either.

      Hi Clara, I have a question. I’ve been hearing people say that you have to bring adaptors to charge cell phones etc. is this true ?

    • @clarapike7687
      @clarapike7687  ปีที่แล้ว

      @Terry Thomas Hi Terry, I guess it depends on where you are from. We are from Canada and did not need any adapters for charging our cellphone and iPad. We are 120V in Canada.

    Would you do this hotel or the Grand Muthu?

    • @clarapike7687
      @clarapike7687  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Terry, thank you for watching and commenting. We did look at the Grand Muthu but ultimately did pick Grand Aston. We based our decision on the age of the resort, reviews on Trip Advisor and Google, pictures of the resort and complex and the price. If you have any more questions I will do my best to answer. Have a wonderful vacation!
