I'm glad you mentioned some actual numbers. So many people will make videos like this then say they can't give a specific price because it varies from place to place. I think most people know that, but giving a specific number helps them to have a point to start from. Thanks for the info.
Just stumbled upon this channel and man you offer a crazy amount of value and with just 2 videos have answer tons of questions I have had over this stuff this past year!
Thanks so much for your comment! Value is the name of the game! I put out these business videos with no expectation, so it's great to hear the resonate with you
Valuable information Chris it’s also ensuring the client needs match benefit you offer a lot of clients don’t always understand what you do and the process you have to go through some many weddings clients always thought you just turned up snapped away and put the images in to an album
It’s always tricky trying to gauge what a client can pay. To shoot a coke spot would be worth so much more to coke than a local brewery. Great vid! Chris Do would be proud 🙌 haha
What if you have a client who is never satisfied no matter what? I've had clients like this and the work never ends (luckily I was charging hourly). Not disputing what you're saying, but I'm curious how you would handle clients who behave in this fashion?
That is very cheap but it made sense for me when I was reaching out to small businesses. Like I said, double the rate until someone says no. If you've been doing photography a while then yeah start at something higher :)

Yeah that was my complaint with these types of videos so I had to share one with numbers :)

So much good info in this video! Great strategy to figure out pricing and it's so important to communicate the value you're providing with your work.
So happy you found it helpful!!

For sure! That's high praise thank you!
Much better than the one on finding your niche. Even though you talk fast, this one was clear.
appreciate that!
Great summary of some useful negotiating approaches minus the bloviating characteristic of so many TH-cam videos. Thank You.
Appreciate you watching!
Great video bro

But if you charge per photo, do they then tell you how many photos they want? Or do you just give them the photos first and invoice them after?
Hop on a call before hand to learn the amount the want. I cover this in my free workshop creativebizlaunch.com/workshop
You say you started with £10 per photo but that sounds way too cheap. I was considering starting at £100-200!!
