Only just found your channel and can’t believe you have so few views of this video considering how amazingly useful it is, mainly because like all your videos, you are so quick but so clear at explaining such useful time saving methods. This is crucial when saving the links of your videos as a reference library to refer to them in the moment of need and not having to watch 20 mins of video to get a couple of keystroke methods. Thanks so much! I subscribed immediately 👍
I'm just starting with Cubase (Pro 12), so really looking forward to this series! Thanks :) The Arranger Track is a fantastic tip, thank you! Could you do shorts on using the Chord view (C - Am - F - G) and then working with that in MIDI. I often want to take a song that I have lyrics and chords and turn it into a backing track so working from chords to an arrangement would be great. Creating a drum part would also be great. And then perhaps working with multiple vocal takes and comping.
Great question! In preferences, under editing, go to tools and see if "Show Toolbox on Right-Click" is checked. If it is, uncheck it and you will get the popup menu like in my video. Let me know if that worked. Cheers!
..is there an option to remove all effect plugins at one in cubase? logic has a shot cut key command, is there in cubase 12? Im still learning cubase...regards
You can bypass all plugins from the mixer (mixconsole). Not sure about removing. You could remove all plugins from a track if you hold alt/option and click on the bypass button on the track. That would get things quicker for sure.
I'm using a jog wheel that sends a G/H command depending on the direction of the rotation. I can't do it the old way anymore! In my case I'm using the JL Cooper MCS6 (Total overkill, but I like the build quality) you can probably achieve the same with the ShuttleXpress (though it's a stepped jog wheel) or the Xencelabs Quick Keys and then you can actually toggle between two kinds of commands (which I use for vertical/horizontal scrolling) plus you get some buttons for quick shortcuts. Let me know if you need any more help :)

Thanks! I just bought Cubase and this is very helpful. More please.
You can also type the shortcut in the key commands, "type a key" box. It shows you the command if it's used.

Been using cubase 11 now on 12, I have been looking for that hihat slicing option. Thank you very much.

My friend how are you zooming so fast without the page going crazy. Coming from Ableton zoom is amazing. Zoom in cubase is frustrating.. help
