Plastic era is definitely my favorite beyblade era so far, the beys are great and the story is awesome, my favorite might be a hard metal bey, Driger MS.
Dude your galeon 2 is mint, what a bey. Collected most of the plastic gen 2 years ago.

Black dranzer is so iconic
Awesome video! Dranzer F/Black Dranzer is my favourite blade ever, just love its design :) My TOP 10? Dranzer F, Driger S, Vortex Ape 2, Flash Leopard (1), Dragoon F, Burning Cerberus, Flash Leopard 2, Dranzer S, Gaia Dragoon V, Wolborg 2. Mostly esthetic and/or sentimental factors (i.e.Vortex is gift from my late Dad; Driger S - my first Beyblade) than battle prowess, but some are still valuable fighters :)
You could compare black dranzer to sprigan the backstory is very similar honestly feel like a similar character I think black dranzer is the original version of sprigan
I think with Spriggan Requiem, the "evil" one like Black Dranzer, there is a 1/72 chance to pull a rare black recolor version, probably as a nod to this

Great list! Desert Sphinxer is also probably top 10 for me love the design is one of my favorite beyblades I own. Personal top 10 would be Desert Sphinxer, Metal Draciel (since it was my first beyblade), Dragoon G, Dragoon grip attacker, Dranzer F, Dranzer V, Wolborg 1, Driger V2, Draciel S and Galeon 1. Dragoon F would be close but not quite top 10 as well haha
so growing up me and my brothers got plastic beys up to about the engine gear stuff, then we kinda fell off…but the one i had that never failed me is metal draceil, that thing never let me down.
I really miss my old plastic gen beys... I had so many when I was little... I will deff get into collecting them again but sometimes it can be hard to find good condition used beys with clean stickers and the new ones are usually like $100-$300.. loll
It's really awesome to see all these plastic gen beys though. Very nostalgic
Like 90% of all my stuff I bought used, just bought a couple lots from Japan. Definitely the easiest on the pocket lol.

Pretty solid list, Black Dranzer is iconic for sure but I prefer Dranzer GT and Wolborg 4 to their base forms. Wolborg 4 has the sickest looking attack in the entire anime

That's a nice list. Most of of the TT's Zeus beyblade is competitive. Even the Holy Despell AR is really competitive like this Holy Despell + War Lion SAR, Holy Despell + War monkey this and Holy Despell + dragon Saucer is my favorite. The Ark Pyramid SAR is pretty good is gonna in this Dark Wing + Ark Pyramid SAR. I going to do my top ten favorite beyblades from all three generations.

I actually went and watched the G-Revolution cartoon back in 2022. And I agree; the fight between Brooklyn and Tyson was awesome. So was the second fight between Brooklyn and Kai.
Driger V2 was one of my favorite plastic Gen beys

I can see your reasoning for Frostic Dranzer but character wise I still believe the Dranzer we have is more fitting, Kai appears cold on the outside but he has the raw fire on the inside for his friends and when he's battling that makes his fights sweeter. I couldn't make a top five list for plastic gen beys either the first four slots would just be filled out with the Bladebreakers beys in any order depending on how I'm feeling (Though Dragoon is usually almost always #1). I am an absolute huge sucker for the Four Sacred Beasts in chinese mythology and how it plays into the characters and their beys is pure greatness. It was a big part of why i played Wo Long which that game funny enough explained to me why Daichi's Strata Dragoon looks the way it does through Yinglong. A certain boss fight in the game also made me more appreciative of Draciel. Aside from the main four Zeus, Wolborg, and Galleon follow in no particular ranking. Small addition Brooklyn alone makes me afraid of the idea of getting isekai'd in g1's universe, I would certainly jump at the chance to be a blader however the first thought that'll pop into my head is "do I really want the possibility of facing HIM in a battle?".
Lightning L Drago and Spriggan Requiem are tied a bit to black dranzer

metal dranzer is the most sleeper bey, i randomly bought a metal dranzer in 2010, and because its so small if you put a wide weight disc on metal dranzer, its wider than the plastic disc, which results to metal contact and off balances the enemy bey, i always was top 2 or won my local tournaments with this, the finals would always be me against a driger V2, which is a huge bey it would take the center of the stadium and out spin you, dranzer V2 won once its a really good bey it has a freespin metal flat on bottom and the magnetic core gave it that low center of gravity that made it very balanced
My favorites are definitely Burning Kerberous and Driger G
Have you thought about a top tier about rarest beys from plastic gen? Ive seen some tournament prizes onlie and some versions I thought were fan recolors (like a dark purple thunder pegasus)
Purple Pegasus is a random booster beyblade. I could but there’s so many recolors and undocumented prize recolors it’s hard to make a list on what exactly is the rarest.

Hey man, coming back to another of your Bakuten shoot videos looking for information:
1. Do you know if there was ever a green plated version of 8 wide? I have one and, at the moment, I'm convinced it's a fake. It's painted a very "grassy" light green. If it were fake, to the fake bin it goes.
2. I was messing around with pieces and tested the following dumb combo
-Scissor Cutter (From Bearing Stinger)
-8 Heavy
-Right Engine Gear (Metal Semi Flat from Driger G)
-First Clutch Base (Driger G)
Weird ass combo but believe it or not, it was tanking some heavy hits!
The second point is not really a question but I wanted to share that with you. I hope you can answer the first point though! Thanks and keep the good Bakuten Shoot content coming! ❤

Hey, Nizuma. Are you afraid of any of your plastic gen beys breaking? Seems to be occuring more recently.
Nah, some of the super early fixed spin gear stuff is a bit fragile but I don’t have many breaks.
dunno where the myth came from but even when I was a kid and we were practically smashing our beyblades into each other with full force throws and maximum spin, they never broke
the base tips and some of the bumps on the attack rings wore down over years and years of use, but there was never a single case of a crack or breakage
it's a really weird myth I keep hearing thrown around by newbies to the series

If it doesn’t activate when you launch it after winding it up then you probably have a cracked gear.
what was the meta near the end of plastic gen?
The series was pretty balanced so not like a set couple of things took over the meta.
plastic had so much granularity and variety in customisation that no real meta could form and basically everything had a fighting chance
there were some popular strategies like flat and heavy with an upper attack AR but nothing ever dominated the competition (aside from stock Driger V2)
it really was a golden age
