Had one of these in 1968, TYU 734, having bought it off some friends for the princely sum of £1. Wouldn't class it as motor-cycling, more like 'lazy cycling'!
Ran it for about three years before moving up to an 'Excelsior Consort'. Power is not great, some of the present-day e-bikes seem to have more 'go' even though on paper, the 'CM' was supposed to develop 0.8HP at 4,500rpm corresponding to a road speed of 20MPH. Those were the days!
Had a carb float split in two and one of the castings from the roller-coaster broke up but fun while it lasted!

This brings back memories when I was 16 years old, I bought the complete wheel had it fitted and set up on my Phillips bike and instead of a lever throttle I asked the shop to replace with a twist grip throttle. If I remember you had a brake by pushing back on the pedals. Took my test and passed in Stratford east London. I used my Cyclemaster for work and it served me well, at that time a brand new Cyclemaster would cost you £28 in 1952.

I have always wondered why an electrical unit that is known to be affected by heat is put inside the cases. I always take them off the points plate and mount them on the frame in some airflow.
