I frequently use Momento "London Fog" when stamping a floral image as I do not like the black outline. I do this when using either alcohol blends or classic ink markers . Try this technique next time you want a "no show" outline.

Thanks for your video, I picked up some hints. When I do colourless prints from stamps, I use a very light beige to stamp.

What I like to do is use Gray Granite or Soft Seafoam in stead of Memento, depending on the image I want to color. I suppose I could use very light pinks for purple or red images, but for these stamps I'd go to the Gray ink pad. They're water based, so they don't affect the Blends. For coloring in, I use the same technique you do.

Hi Anna, I do use the blends but I have a lot of practicing to do because I just cannot get the blending to look right to me. I have not used your technique here, but am willing to try it to see if it will improve the way mine turn out. Yours are beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

Try doing a search for “COPIC coloring for beginners” to improve your blending. There’s a lot of good videos for beginners & perhaps you’ll find some helpful tips.
I always end up with a harsh lines.
I’ve got COPIC alcohol markers & struggle with blending.
There’s certain card stocks that make blending easier & you use less ink. I purchased “COPIC X-Press Blending card”. Spectrum Noir has a good card stock too but I never tried it. I only use Copic card stock for the images I’m coloring, not to create an entire card (due to cost).
      I hope this helps you.

I have had a wood block stamp of this for years and have never been able to get it done to my satisfaction. Thanks for your help to make it come alive.

Love them. Will give a go with blending. Only used my markers for plain colouring. X

    Beautiful cards, informative video! 😃
I prefer the markers to the blends, because the blends show through to the back of the cardstock. I also use the colored pencils with the markers’ blending tool to soften the coloring lines.
FYI: I fast forwarded through the coloring to see the end results.

I am a newbie and have a hard time getting the right card stock to begin with. What is a basic card stock I should look for

    • @chantalle7340
      @chantalle7340 ปีที่แล้ว +1

COPIC X-Press It card stock is supposed to be the best for alcohol ink blending. Only use it for coloring, not to create an entire card due to the cost. It will save you ink & it makes blending easier.

Whenever I use the color lifter, it looks smudgey. It never takes off the mistake, just looks messy. 🙄

I have the same problem. I find it easier to touch up my mistakes with a white Sakura Jelly Roll pen.

Lovely, Anna! I’ve never used multiple colors when using the Blends; you caused a lite bulb to go off💡. TFS❣️

I LOVE the results of coloring with alcohol markers, but like you, it's not my absolute favorite. Die cutting is my first love

Great idea. I will definitely try this. I love do alcohol ink coloring since I first tried it last year. I've made some absolutely gorgeous cards (mostly flowers). But i have a number of animals stamps that will do well. Emjoy your channel very much, Anna.

This grape image is a bit intimidating but taking it one part at a time makes it seem doable. It would not be my top choice for a card front
