I was a bit disappointed at first as it didn't sound the way I expected it to. After a while I found the sweet spot and how to really tune it and I'm loving it.
I wish Ludwig offered modern lacquer finishes, wraps & colors. They’re great drums & all but I’m getting tired of their retro oyster swirls & glitter finishes. Look at TAMA drums for inspiration.
You did well getting this kit! Ludwig is solid
Thanks, I'm loving it!
Nice Beatles beats!
Thanks, Colin!
Sounds great man!!
Thanks, Tim!
Dang!! I traded this exact trap for a ‘56 ford pickup in ‘73. Oh how I would like that kit back!
Nice and beefy
Thanks, Ivan!
Great sound!
Thank you!
Just inspect the friggin edges real good. Nice kit.
Good beatles covers. I own a maple downbeat. Ludwig make the best kits. Love the sound
Thanks Rigo! Enjoy your downbeat Ludwig kit!
Downbeat. Good choice icw a 5x14 supraphonic!
Not bad for no huge gated reverb.
love it. is that 22 or 24 bass drum?
Thanks, Joseph! It's a 22!
Recently I purchased a BB snare. It's sad to say. This snare does dissapoint me.. 😪
