Girl, you’re where you are today because of YOU, YOUR hard work, YOUR consistency, talent, humor, personality, he has absolutely nothing to do with your success. Don’t ever let anyone make you question that❤ ily Becca!!💕
it's clear that some parts of this story were hard/embarrassing to open up about but i want you to know that many of us have made a DAMN FOOL of ourselves, wayyy to many times, for someone we were into (mostly men, ugh). You are not alone. F that guy for taking advantage of you, and then STILL wanting a piece of your success after all those years. I'm embarrassed FOR HIM. Good on you for standing up for yourself!
I’m sorry this happened to you, you were definitely used by that guy. But I’m glad you told the story because hopefully some other young girl sees this and doesn’t fall into the same situation. Don’t let that guy take your power, saying that you have what you have because of him, it’s bs, he’s just trying to lift himself up.
The audacity to pretend he's reflecting on things. He saw how successful you were getting, and wanted to use you again. Good for you for seeing through his act and cutting him off completely. Don't feel bad for falling for it at the time. You have nothing to feel ashamed of. He does. I hope your story helps other young girls in similar situations. You're amazing, Becca. I love your podcast! Love how real you are. Just keep working on yourself. There are so many wonderful things for you to experience yet. Thank you for sharing some of your thoughts with us. It's inspiring.
imagining little baby becca coming home from school and going straight to bed, being sad all the time, wishing upon a star to feel better…🥺 she would be so happy and proud to see you now ! everything you do is for her and i relate heavily. we love you so much, thank you for sharing ❤❤
It's ok to feel sad, confused, a bit lost. It's a part of healing and growing. You're doing amazing, even if it doesn't feel like that in the moment. You've already come so far! Just keep pushing and investing in yourself. ❤️
We love you Becca, you are just so funny and relatable. So adorable. Be kind and loving to yourself. And trust the process. You deserve so much happiness ✨
Hi becca!! Thank you for being consistent with this podcast, I genuinely look forward to every post. You’re like my cool old sister I never had, thank you ❤
thank you for sharing. I believe that the real moral of that story is that life is not about getting knocked down or fooled into participating in a pyramid scheme, but in the strength it took for you to finally see what was happening and get out of it by sticking to your guns and not letting another real job slip away. Congrats to you !! As for the break-up, what you should probably do is make a journal detailing your views and feelings as to why the breakup happened, and figure out if you still feel that same way. Maybe you are still meant to be with Shannon, but you needed time to reflect on those feelings about kids and conception.
We need so much reflection and unpacking to do to understand why we accept certain things and react in certain ways. And time to learn to want better for ourselves, that we deserve better. I'm so happy that you're doing all this work.
just a thought … if you didn’t know this already one of the symptoms of adhd is emotional dysregulation / experiencing more intense emotions. it is very likely that the depression you experienced as a child was related to this. it’s not uncommon for kids, especially adhd females, to go through things like that. I know I did, though my coping was getting hooked on red bull at 10 years old, enabled by my mom, and just powering through. anyway, recognizing the impact of that emotional dysregulation can be validating/healing if that resonates with you.
And he tried to gaslight you into thinking he made you good at something, instead of knowing that you ARE good at social media which he knew and used you then try take credit for you now. Wow what a douche
you're one of my fav content creators girl, you're yourself and genuine + really funny. Life is all about learning and not one person in this world is perfect, so don't listen to the people throwing negativity and drama. As long as you treat others well, live life and kick back. Thanks so much for being you Becca, take care
"And then we hooked up" ... every time you said it, I laughed because it's so embarrassing and so relatable. WHY DID WE DO THIS ISHHHHH 🤦🏼♀️😵

U will settle for a male 🤣
And now our supposedly queer podcast is back to regular scheduled programming of talking about men. Great.
You know what being bisexual means right?
Learn how to spot the red flags and walk away.
Well you gotta make some mistakes first to learn
