Fun fact, for the giant horse quest in TOTK, either the white or the black horse works. I had both at the time, and chose to ride my black and orange horse over instead of the white one, and he didn't care one bit!
@@npcrah You can absolutely register the black one in BOTW, and all my registered horses carried over into my TOTK save file. I am uncertain whether or not you can find the black horse in TOTK if you didn't have him in BOTW.
Wow, so i just learned you can find the black horse in totk, and that's something i missed in the necluda video (on the peninsula between hateno bay and deepback bay) there's nothing there in botw Also, i had the big horse transfer from botw, but then factory reset my switch to ger ver 1.0.0 back
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast I believe only the big white horse is actually found roaming in TOTK, and you have to have transferred Ganonhorse from your BOTW safe file. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
Dang! I was gonna mention him at the shrine covered in boulders that needs an electricity strike, but left that on the cutting room floor. I should mention kass more in the remaining videos of this series. He's a crowd favorite lol
These videos are amazing. I know it's been a while since release so the hype died down, but I appreciate you sticking with it to cover the whole map. These are the kinds of things I was doing this myself for the first few weeks since launch. I'm very glad someone else put in the time to have a comprehensive video about it
Thanks dude! I was pumped to start this series from the start, but 2023 had other plans that kept me from video making for a bit. The totk hype has died down, but I believe Zelda stuff in general is always going strong
I'd love to see that video about the Hyrule Economic Crisis. that that sounds like one of those small background details that nobody ever thinks about, and stuff like that fascinates me. I wonder if the economy is responsible for the lack of hearty durians.
I will start a first draft of the economy video script, and if ideas make sense to split it into two separate topics, I'll see. This could be a small series or one big gropolitical analysis
I could watch your videos all day long, thank you for all the love you put into this series! Let's make that rupee video happen and don't forget to cover Beedle and his stock and prices. Funny how he got the exact same inventory in both games but added some TOTK exclusive items in the sequel.
In TOTK, If you go into one of the houses in Lurelin village, an NPC will talk about a picture that Zelda took of lovers pond. If you go up to lovers pond after 5pm fairies will spawn if you have room in your inventory.
binged all the comparison videos back to back today and was trying to figure out which you might do next... hoping for the the Forest and Thyphlo Ruins.
I don't know if you've covered this already, but I found that every korok in BOTW that you put a boulder in the hole is now take the boulder out of the hole and put it in the "golf tee". Like the developers continue the puzzle.
The rupee economy has become trash! I'm glad you revealed those Gloom Spawn traps. I would rather have the Guardians instead because at least I know when I'm going to get a laser to the face.
thank you for making this series it's very intriguing to get into the minds of the devs and see how they wanted to change things for the sequel (or not)
24:00 I got curious and double checked the mystery korok spot and it's definitely there in my game. I had already gotten it apparently, but it's indeed one of the flying koroks that hangs out at the exact spot that was given by the map. Might be a bug from an earlier version of the game or someting?
I didn’t find it at the peak. It was halfway down the path if I remember, but it was also among my first TotK Koroks found. Darin is my favorite region so I headed there first from Lookout Landing when I realized Impa was not at Karkariko Village. I mean I was halfway there anyways so why not keep ignoring the story quest-again.
Yeah, someone mentioned that a little while ago as something i missed noticing. I like including climate changes so sad that info didn't make it into the script

6:47 now that you have this information, i want you to know that someone said that shrines in TOTK look like someone "spreading thine cakes" (my words)
It's rare, but happens. A couple in the castle comparison i remember for sure. I've seen reused identical puzzles, and identical koroks both in appearance and in pose (flying or standing, stick in right hand, left hand, or both empty) but never two exactly the same koroks doing the same exact puzzle.
0:20 wait if you have all the korok seeds, how did we get footage of you getting some of them? unless i’m mistaken and those are clips found online or something. also do you just have one completed save file to show the korok seeds that you open every time to film?
Excellent question. That's the interactive map online. An invaluable resource for creating these videos. Ive added links to the video description or you can find through a simple google search

Hi
how did this comment happen 18 minutes ago when the video was posted 10 minutes ago
I'd love to see Tabantha personally
I wanna see Hebra so bad
I had the video as unlisted while hd was still processing

I'd love to see that video about the Hyrule Economic Crisis. that that sounds like one of those small background details that nobody ever thinks about, and stuff like that fascinates me.
I wonder if the economy is responsible for the lack of hearty durians.
Lack of hearty food is definitely a problem. Whether these issues are related is yet to be seen. And if so, is it correlation or causation? 🤔
It could also be a symptom of Hyrule's larger natural resource shortages.
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast well now I want to see a video about the resource shortages. or is that part of the economic crisis?
